Hey Mike, Our trip to NC was good. We crammed a lot in 5 days and 2 of those days were travel days. Much of what we did I did last year, but out of the 5 of us only 2 had been back to NC. We did the HOF, got into the speedway and checked out the new HDTV. Toured a bunch of shops and I mean a bunch. Played Texas Hold-Um with Ron Hornaday on Monday night. Met with Todd Bodine and Justin Lofton's CC Rudy at Germain. They hooked me up with a few private tours, including Germain's shop. We were all quite impressed with all they do and build at Germain. They even build their own chassis, except for the Cup cars. Those are MWR chassis. Germain's goal it too eventually be a 4 car Cup team. Our private tour of Ganassi was cool but short. Do too Justin Lofton racing the BITD Silver State 300 off-road race, he was not able to get back until Tuesday. So we were only able to do dinner and hung out a bit after.

Overall it was good and some of the people we got to meet or just ran into were Ron Hornaday, Jack Roush, Joe Gibbs, JD Gibbs, Todd Bodine, Bootie Barker, Justin's CC Rudy Fugle and the famous TOG. We saw but were not able to speak too, MW, Brad Daugherty, Martin Truex (not a happy guy after the Dover race) If you get a chance to check out the shops the best shop by far to visit is MWR. By far you get to see the most. They charge $10, but it was worth it and then some. MW knew what he was doing when he built his shop.
