They are a great group of kids. Their teammate had a terrible time with an illness which has never been diagnosed. The kid doesn't even recognize his parents as his parents. He knows them as familar faces. but he has no memory of anything from 6 months ago. He was on life support, had to learn to walk, etc. again. It was and still is a very sad situation.
The team plays fair and the town supports them above and beyond. The other team's school was only 17 miles from the stadium and yet we had more fans on our side who travel up to 5 hours. Going to the high school to welcome them home today. Pouring down rain here now, but I bet the place will be packed!

There were a few of us there at different times. She agreed to watch Survivor if I stayed to assist her with her computer problems. Things worked out ok.
Plans are set for Sat. Are you guys going to be able to head over for any of it? We are figuring we will be there by 4. Gates open at 5 and the game is 7pm. The only thing is we are unsure of how to get firewood in to keep warm!
YES YES YES!! What a great football weekend for our teams! It would only be made better by hearing WVU plays in the latter part of the day next weekend so people from my area can make both games.
So very glad you guys are planning to come to Wheeling to cheer on my favorite team. It will be good to catch up in person. Unless something happens, we will be there bright and early. Dress VERY warm as the stadium is next to the river... oh and a strip club... and a casino. Hey it is West Virginia!! Where did you think the "Wild and Wonderful" came from? the scenery??? lol!
Are you going to the 500 this year? There is a small chance I might go. I've been saving some money for a while now, but I'd have to miss quite a bit of work (if I really wanted to go enjoy myself).

Yes, I am in Steeler country! We ate at our favorite sports bar, but they turned the race off in favor of football games. Dang Northerners!! Bad enough they don't have sweet tea, but NO Nascar- unforgivable!!
