Nothing much going on here, just a lot of work. I feel so bad for Rob....what a gut wrenching way to loose a race. I will e-mail that picture in a few minutes. Have you sold your house yet?
Every time I make pizza down at my house in San Felipe, I end up with 30 people at my door. Maybe its the atmoshere, maybe its the pizza. On race day Baja Dave and Baja Mark were at my door for breakfast at 8:30. They were suppose to come at 10:00 AM. Proof enough?
I usually hang out with Neil, but he was going to be down on the Pacific. I guess last minute changes put hin at Laguna Salado. I brought some friends plus hooked up with Baja Dave anf Baja Mark down so I did not look for the pit crew. I climbed up and got some good shots up high. It was great at the 250 when I got to 2 pits stops and more shots. I would like to help out more. I am a great cook , I could feed the team.
I am very fortunate to have a lot of work that is very steady / continuous....so the work is never done.
I am just one step closer to the pre-runner I can take to Baja.
I got the streat pre-runner, which I drove today....it was fun, but I need a true dirt pre-runner...
I told the wife, ya wanna go to Cabo...and she said hell yes, ....
Then I said, we are going to do it in a buggy!!!
I guess as long as we get there, we or I am good!
I guess Bob and Sharon are in Charlotte....since my wife is house sitting / cat sitting up there.
T rod did you take those pictures? they are really cool. Matt is my new friend on Planet Robby. he has been really nice to me. It looks like you are his friend to. Would you like to be my friend?
Thanks

I don't know what happened.
I didn't get the call....its a good thing, as I am swamped with work....and like I told Bob this morning when he called to tell me about the race, I would have loved to gone, but I would have to pass on this trip.... have to keep the good customers happy! And, they are paying an expedite fee to get this order done!
Got to keep food on the table and shoes on the kids feet.
I hope you had a navigator for the trip?
See ya next time....I still have more video to upload....when I get to it.
yeah i saw the 4 seater three times, first was at race mile 36 you were going to ojos negros i was before the highway cross and then i saw you when you took the highway going to the south, and finaly when you were in Robby's pit area
Only my pride was hurt, although it was amusing to watch, because everyone busted up laughing. Dave got his payback when the easy up went airborne. I met some nice people from Calexico as well. We will see what the route brings to the table for the 1000.I have not been to the contigency in Ensenada. I miss not hanging out with the team. I like the idea of being multiple locations. Let me know what's going on as things get closer to the 1000.
I was with Baja Dave and Baja Mark, and some friends from Indiana. They came over for breakfast, we headed out together for Checkpoint #2. I climb a hill, fell down a few times on the way up. I got to the top and got the shots. We were having lunch and a dust devil blew the Easy Up away. Dave has had it for 30 years. We had a great time back to San Felipe to celebrate with a fire, drinks and dinner at my house. I am sure you had a blast after the race. Did Robby have to leave right away?
Looks like I will be heading down to San Felipe Friday night. I will probably be down by the Borrego at around 1:30 as you suggested. I might head up the hill a bit if time allows.
I am working.
Did you check your camera yet?
I thought you might like some documentation, since you probably weren't in the mood at the time. I will send you mine when I get around to looking at them.
I got the..."see ya on Monday morning" verision, not sure what time.
Where are we staying, I asked....his response "who knows"
Same thing for next week, gotta be in town for the prelude race, and then leave the next day....coming back, who knows when....
Sounds like we are parking at the ranch, but then again, not sure about that either.....I will just go up there on Sunday night and sleep on the trailer or in the buggy.
