Mike,
I am good for the beer. Sure it was a sucker bet, but it was all in fun, anyway. Now,
To adhere to the terms of the bet, which I originally posted, and which you took on, the bet was specifically to be for a Schooner of beer, to be Paid off at at specific place :
Joe Jost's in Long Beach, California. Now, technically, when you meet me there, I will
Be happy to buy you a schooner.
It was clear and specific. To say here on the Planet that " the guy on RDC has not paid
Off yet " is inaccurate. The truth is that you have not showed up to collect. That was
Laid out in the bet I posted, right ?
Now, if you want to provide me with an address, I will be happy to send you a beer,
Regardless of the fact that it was never laid out that way in the bet I put on the table. It
Was a sincere bet- there are lots of SoCal Offroaders with easy access to Joe Jost's,
And many racers go there to begin with. It was not as if I offered a cup of Tsampa
In Tengboche .
So,I could have potentially been buying beers for 20 guys at Joe's, if they had
Accepted the bet. They did not. You did.

So, when do you think you will be down to satisfy your side of the bet, so that I may
Satisfy mine ? Just let me know.
When I put the bet on the table, it was in good faith, and primarily to promote discussion
And pull out information from insiders about what Layout RG had put together for is new ride.

OK, so it is clear that the statement that ' the guy on RDC has not paid up' is inaccurate.
The statement that ' I have not been yet traveled to Long Beach California to collect on my
Bet with the guy on RDC is accurate.
You can correct that on here or not, that is up to you.
Now....
To go above and beyond the terms of my wager, I will either :

A. Ship you a beer, I just need a shipping address in Washington.
B. Send the price of a schooner to your email address via Paypal, all I need is an Email
Address .
C. Send the price of a schooner to you via planet Robby, except I have looked around the page and I have to seen where that is an option. If you would like to explain it to me a bit,
I will be happy to do it that way.

I am not offended by the Term ' sucker Bet', by the way. I was willing to meet anybody at
Joe's to pay off in exchange for some information on RDC regarding RG's rig. I figured it
Was an SST based Front engine race car, even though I didn't think that was necessarily
The best choice....given that the Hummbuggy was capable of winning last year, and had
Been developed to the point where it's strengths allowed it to overcome it's weaknesses
And be competitive.
I tend to think that the HST might be a one year deal. I think the wheelbase is too short, and the drivetrain layout might not be the best for the dunes. We'll see. The guy behind the wheel must have thought he had a good solution , and I figure that he more than anybody, knows if the thing can be hammered into shape, or if another clean sheet of paper design is the way to go. Now that the Minis are faster, the target has moved.
We'll see. It is all part of the fun.
Best,
Reinhart
