I think a tri axle dump truck holds about 25 cu yds!! That would be 120 dump runs in...then out!!

Just an educated guess, but if the area was 400' ( a football field is 300' long) x 200' ( a football field is 150' wide) x 12" deep...here's how much you'd need!
You need a total of 80,000 cubic feet of topsoil, or
2,962.96 cubic yard of topsoil, or
53334 1.5-cubic-foot bag of topsoil, or
45715 1.75-cubic-foot bag of topsoil, or
40000 2-cubic-foot bag of topsoil, or
26,667.00 3-cubic-foot bag of topsoil.
