I'm sorry I forgot to point out that Alex Winocq is not new to the HUMMER (#2) Some may remember he was co-dog with Eric Vigouroux for the 2009 DAKAR.The first year in South America

Yep, we will see. I just think it shows how strong RGOR is with Yazeed "s purchase. I'm sure RG is proud of the development and hard work continuing on in Dakar.

Thanks Ivan, great to see that Hummer again. As well as the support rig. Yazeed is on the gas hope he will be all good for Dakar. It's going to be cool to see the Hummer at Dakar.

FYI, the HUMMER's where modified to FIA spec before they where shipped.Maybe that's why Robby's new racer will be FIA spec roll cage/engine with the 39mm restrictor ;-)

@Ivan, nice piece. If I were you, I'd start a thread with that video. The Planeteers will have comments. Guaranteed! I hope the best for Yazeed. Love that he's running the Hummer. As we've said in other situations, a win for Yazeed bodes well for RG. I hope he kicks butt. Fun tidbits of info the video. The test facility in the middle of the desert cracks me up. Interesting about the restrictor-plate being tied to the roll-cage design - if I caught that correctly.
