The adjustable rear wing only adjusts when there is brake pressure & the view you see is standard braking pressure into a corner. More of an air brake instead of downforce. It does make mega downforce over 100 mph at maximum attack angle. 2000lbs of downforce at 100 mph.

@Bighead,per the Supplemantary Regulations (DAKAR Rule book) T1P11.4) Complete wheels must have a maximum diameter of 940 mm for 2-wheel drive cars and 810 mm for 4-wheel drive cars. So, 37"s

Usually in cars that have movable spoilers, they would pop up once a certain mph was reached. Mainly used to gain stability at higher speeds. Once the speed returned, the spoiler would then return to its original position. Porsche, Dodge and Mitsubishi (I'm sure there 's others) have used this type of spoiler. I'm only assuming that RG would want something adjustable scorching across the desert at 140+ mph. The trucks parts have been tested all year long, but the body hasn't. I'd want some stability as well.

Thank you sir. Seems to be another tool to keep the back end below the front end at speed, as the engine's up front. Also, must be allowed by the ASO. Very, very ingenious.
