Does it have different lug pattern front and rear?

@Redlinetech Looks to me the exhaust is coming out the co-dawg side a la Nascar.

I'm going with live axle.Simple, easy to maintain, lighter, gear ratio easily changed.

Emmanuel, I agree, the balance & wt to the rear will be key for 2wd. Best kept secret so far is the rear suspension. I am still going with IRS. How much travel did the Hummer have in the rear last year?

I bet on forward engine but as much rear as possible, rear gearbox with differential as a mendeloa and a pair of trailing arm.
I hope the lack of weight on the rear wheels will not be an issue in the big dunes.
What do you think guys (and if any but i have some doubts, girls) ?

Valentine, You must not be watching SST trucks too closely. That metal bracket under the letters T and I from Tire is the trailing arm mountaing bracket. Its the exhaust is no where to be seen. Maybe that black part below the tail of the Speed logo/Platform chain.

This picture is not necessarily showing trailing arms. I am going with rear trans axle, like last year. Truck is based like H3X. Two door coupe. Look beyond the exterior pics and use your imagination. Check out the real roof line. 2 drs sloped center roof. Plus a whole lot of things that make it a great looking and competitive truck.

wow, it really has trailing arms.. Would not have expected Robby running a solid axle in Dakar. The only thing that bothers me is that tall windshield similar to other "buggys". It would have looked even better with the screen not so tall. Better view of the terrain I guess
