I have wonderd why Rob is still running the olded body style front end. You would think Chevy would want the #1TT representing the latest?

These air ducts are molded in to the body were the ducts RG ran last year @ SF were more like last min add on's so I would say they planned for keeping the shocks cool this year, we will know for shure on raceday.

Yes those air ducts would be too help cool the rear shocks. Both the #3 Riviera TT which is a former RGM truck and the #8 Roger Norman TT which is a #3 clone, both still run RG shocks and both of those trucks use a water spray system at San Felipe that shoots water on the shocks when they start to get hot running in the big San Felipe whoops. Both the #3 and #8 have a double stack tire rack and they add a water tank where the second spare would be. At the half way point when doing the pit stop they will remove that tank for the balance of the race. The big whoops in San Felipe are in the first half of the race.

I have heard that part of Robby's test was to work on keeping the shocks cool, so maybe they played with air ducts and who knows maybe a mister system too?
