From personal experience, if you can meet Robby in a venue outside of the track/trailer- GO FOR IT!! He will spend more time with you especially if you are wearing Robby gear. Read my blog (and others) about Dega for info. There is a group of us who met on RUR before its demise and now we are traveling to races together. Robby has always treated us well. We have always left with more than our fair share of free autographed stuff too. Good luck!!
I have no idea why Robby can't get a merch trailer on the race premises - they do everything to have him NOT make money - Helton really has it in for him and I don't have a clue as to why. They nix sponsors, etc. I wish they would leave him alone and let him make some bucks. Post on home page for others going to the race this weekend maybe you can all meet up in a special area on Fri. or Sat. I won't be going to any races this year and won't ever go to Pocono EVER AGAIN. I don't know of anyone going to Darlington, but you could post a thread requesting a get together. That is what I would do. Once you get an idea of who all is going, then post or offer a particular place to meet. We did it for NH last year, and we met up with several members.
