    thanks, i shot the buck in the neck with a muzzleloader, after the smoke cleared, could not find him. i always shoot them in the neck, and knew i did not miss since he was only 90 yards out, after looking all over i glanced at the pond and saw his rack, he stumbled down while the smoke was thick and fell in, had to cut a sapling down and fish him out. he dressed out at 235, but was water-logged. my buddy shot a bigger rack buck 300 yards from me 10 minutes later, we ended up with 19 last year on my farm, 12 does and 7 bucks, this was the 2nd biggest. my boy got the 1st one of the year on sunday, just a doe but i shot a big mangy coy-dog. good luck hunting!!!
