Shit here is same o same o!!! Glad you had time for the family and a quick recharge. Hot as hell out here though. With my job I work outside alot, and I also spend time in attics...Yeah, fuckin attics in this heat, that sucks big shit!!! For my 40th b-day a while back my wife took me to St. Pete Florida with some family, where we pounded down plenty of Beam and Bud on the beach. Went to a couple Harley biker bars on the beach and tore shit up...Hey, take care, have fun, and when you get back to Vegas, let me know and we will hook you up!

hey tooltime,i had to laugh,st pete,in july,i lived there for 30 years,in july i always took my family to colorado/vegas,too hot and humid in fla,i had a class 1 we would come out and run firecracker in barstow when walt lott had hdra and wra,then leave the car in vegas and fly back for snore 250 in sept,met robby and his dad in 1976,his dad lent me some tires and rims,

Yah, or when Parker 400 would race the California loop then cross-over to Az, for the other 250miles. The race would last well into the night. In 86 it snowed and we had 4 class wins that year.

I hate that shit and they always seem to do that when your at full boogy and cause you to run into something. The worst thing I had happen was when I was hot lapping my sprint for mod class and a punk kid threw his car down in the middle of the track right in front of mine, needless to say that ended racing my sprint for that day. I got to say how cool it is though that you have a community track, this dink town dont have shit for anything.

Raised the rear, ok you have me puzzled, but then these are different from what I ran. You could be a litle stiff on the shock oil in the rear, did you try playing with the front spring setting maybe. I really need to get one of these trucks so I can check things out. Im hoping to find a body and paint you the polaris scheme. I dont think I little hole in the wall hobby shop is even still open. Guess its time to check it out and see lol.

I was watching the Laughlin and saw a local guy running, Sam Berry. I used to pit for a friend in VORRA and we raced against him. I actually dated what I think is still his wife in high school. I need to investigate and maybe get hooked up to goto some of the races as a crew member.

I'm a driveability, electrical specialist but I do everything except automatic transmissions. I was also the front tire changer on the Truck, when we didn't qualify in memphis we helped pit for Micheal Dokken just before the big crash he had a Michagin. Sam Berry is running a class 1 car, gonna have to go and check out his shop maybe lol

What it be bro? Had a light day at work today. Kinda milking my shoulder injury today...Told the boss Im not climbing anymore ladders or crawling in attics or swinging from beams in ceilings until after im cured. So, today i went for a quickie cruise to the freshly snow covered mountains to slide around a bit on some trails. After I wasted some gas i went back into town to try and get some work done. How are you guys handling all the rain out your way? I think we're getting our yearly amount of rainfall this week after it passes you guys. Are you on facebook? One of my past co-workers works for RGM,and Im expecting a phone call soon with all the Dakar scoop.

hey,we had a chat about walt lott in jan,you said you knew him,i live in orlando now,i race clas 1 in 75-80out there,i met walt and we became friends,he let me help mark the courses with him,he was not shy on drinking some beers ,something has bugged me for years,maybe you may see robby before i do,iwas marking a course out for the firecracker 250,i think 1977or75,walt put a friends 9 or 10 year old son with me to help mark the course,well he kept bugging to drive the baja bug of walts we were using,i told him i had to much power for him,he kept bugging me till i gave in,i made the mistake of letting him start driving at the top of a pretty steep hill,the little shit got it into 3rd gear before i knew it,we were at the bottom of the hill,beer was everywere,one hell of a ride,scared the hell out of me,i dont think i would have taken my class one down that hill that fast,years latter when robby started racing,i allways wonder if that was him,i could not remember the kids name and walt had passed away,it would not supprise if it was him,hah

hey bud i didnt use decals the logo is painted on its real ez take this logo here add it to your pics file the just keep tracing it til you get the size you need . Once you have that tape the tracing to the inside of the body then using a sharpie marker retrace it on the body on the outside of it . Then after you do your paint job go back over it with a testors paint marker to make it more permanent

i race indoors as for setup i mostly stick to the stock setup w just a lil bit less preload and thicker shock oil because of the weight from the rollcage

thats 1 of the biggest things i hate about these damn brushless motors theyre VERY finicky lol All my trucks still run brushed w NIMH battery packs . Guess its just the old school in me lol
