Hi Sarah - still here at my esk. Don't like the new format on NASCAR.com with the driver points. It was better when they listed the field and you saw at a glance where everyone was. Also can't seem to tap in on owner points. Can't contact them to state my objections. I am pissed that RG ran out of fuel last weekend, he would have stayed up in the points. I hate to see him in the 30s when he should be higher. Do you kow if he is running on Sunday, there also was no entry list for cup. NASCAR's page has gotten consistently worse each year. Joan
Just checking in on 3/21 Monday - Race sucked yesterday - Looks like Kyle is on the fast track to championship - Dislike him - hate his wife - a million dollar spender and ditz all rolled into one - figures he make a pick like that. Having surgery on Wed. Will talk next week. Joan
It snowed. @ home. Don’t see anything on ground just few miles away. For once I'm not driving. Nascar is so boring I don't watch it much. Mainly follow on my phone. We r listening to Kansas getting beat. Hope VCU wins.
HI Sarah - left eye was done on Wed. Back here at my desk today. Will be out another 3 days for the right eye. All went pretty well, sore a little bit, and need to keep putting in drops. Otherwise, OK. Have no idea how Robby ended up in the 30s 3 laps down yesterday, didn't come in till the end. I am so HAPPY that Harvick won, he deserves it and so does Childress. So tired of JJ & Kyle winning all the time. Joan
Don't trip and fall over the Mouse Tracks!!!!! Yup, it really, really, is me who wandered on by!!! Hope all is well your way?? Heat wave here today, Made it to 40 degrees!!! Take care, Love ya
Good Morning Babe!!!!!!! No, this is the "real Mouse" and NOT an April fools joke!!!!! hehehe. Woke up to six inches of heavy, wet, ***** snow here, and it is still snowing!!!!!! YUCKOOOOOOOOOO!!! Hope your weather is alot better, which I'm sure it is! After all, you are Ms Sunshine!!! Have a great weekend and I will see you in chat on Sunday evening!!!! Love ya
Hello Sunshine!!!!! How are ys Babe?? I am soooo lookin forward to this warmer weather! And I know you are as well. Snow took a beating here yesterday, but we still have more on the ground here than you have had the last couple of your winters!! Might be all gone by the end of April if I am lucky! Great chatting with you last night as well. Take care and have a Great day today. Love ya
Well the Hawks got lucky and sneaked in at the 8 seed. Hopefully the curse of the President's Trophy is still alive, because they're gonna need it against Vancouver.
Hi Sarah - Happy Easter - Doesn't feel like spring here - cold, will be rainey and cold tomorrow. I don't plan on eating too much out of the Easter Basket - have to lose some weight. It makes me mad that his good finishes have not brought Robby up in the points. Keep in touch - Joan
So the Canucks would like to know if the Caps want the President's Trophy back, because its not working for them too well. Down 3-0 no problem lets play a Game 7!
Hi Sarah - It was a good Easter (all of the Phila. teams won!!) Maybe if they had raced RG would have also. Have an appt. to see eye dr. today at 1:30 prep for other eye to have catarac removed. Hope all goes well with this one, will tell you when I go for surgery tomorrow. At least I can see out of the left eye LOL. Hope your Easter was a good one. Love Joan
Hi Sarah - my next surgery is next Wed. Today I got two baskets from my bosses, one for Admin. Professionals Day (used to be Secretary's Day) and one for my birthday which happens to be today also. I am 29 again LOL. Gail is coming up to pick me up because I can't maneuver all this on the bus. I hope RG gets a good finish this weekend, I also want him to come up in the points. He was 20th & 23rd and yet is still 31st in points. Have a good week. Joan
I posted another rant where I tried to capture your statements. PlanetRobby should be fun where we should all look forward to showing up and chatting about the race.
Hi Sarah - 2nd surgery did not go s well as 1st. Had swelling have to see Dr. again today at 1:30. I am sure you were in the chat Sat. night - I have no idea what happened, Robby got back on the lead lap, then was off then was back then was out. They never said why - I am amazed that Kyle is still alive Harvick and Bowyer were so pissed at him And what was all the pit trouble? Falls, one guy almost was run over, Menard was turned around, many missed the cone - maybe they should re-configure the pit entrance there, Regan Smith was a fluke win I was rooting for Harvick, but he faded then got wrecked by Kyle - by that time, I guess Robby was half way home to N. C. I felt bad for Vickers, his car looked like it had been peeled like a banana. If it was that bad at Darlilngton, I hate to think what Dover is going to be like. Will be in touch later this week. P.S. RG dropped 2 pts. Joan
Hi Sarah - I missed most of the Dover race yesterday and when I turned it on, I saw that Wimmer was in the 7 car. At that late point in the game, none of the announcers explained why Wimmer was driving the 7. Robby's not in CA till next week for off-road - Do you know why Wimmer was driving the 7? Joan
I think Robby with Wimmer as "driver" will be out of the top 35 where he is at present within a week or so. Then he will have to be in the go-go-homers, which probably means 15 races is very optimistic. PJ Jones would be a better choice, but I'm not sure where they stand, last year Robby was ready to kill him after Pocono. I was gald to see Kyle come in 2nd and Edwards took the $million. Originally, I was rooting for Bowyer, but he faded away in the ending laps. I was also kind of rooting for Kensith - but he also faded at the end. Cousin Carl, really wrecked that car trying to do donuts - Did you see that? Keep in touch, I have another Eye visit this week on Wednesday. I am using all my vacation days up on these doctor visits. Joan
Hi Sarah - Hope your Holiday weekend is great. I watched a re-run of qualifying last night, and went to bed when Wimmer in RG's 77 did not make the race (not that I expected him to) I felt bad for RG when Wimmer didn't get in, Robby should cut his losses before Wimmer gets him out of the top 35. However Robby's effort wasn't much better, when I went to bed he was 39th and I don't know if he dropped after that or not. He may drop himself out of the top 35 this weekend. I sure wish he could consistently stay up in the top half instead of always at the bottom. That 23rd looks good compared to the last couple of races.
Well I am not going to the Kentucky race. Several reasons main one being money, second one being that Robby is probably just going to park it or have Scott park it. But if you and Jaci want to meet me for Dinner or something that would be cool, I only live about 25 minutes from the track.
Hi Sarah - not a good weekend, my left eye lost some vision and I met the doctor on an emergency basis Sat. at 4:30 he wants me to have an x-ray of the eye one day this week and started me on drops again. He thinks fluid is building up in the back of the eye. I did watch the race, but Robby was a DNF and no one said why he was off then out. I think they has discounted him entirely. The finish was a blast though, I thought for sure Jr. would get the win, he ran out of gas and so did Kahne, Kensith slipped back, Biffle lost positions and all of a sudden there is Kevin across the finish line and taking the checkers. "Where did he come from?" It was so unexpected, I even think Kevin was surprised. Good win for him - his 3rd of the season, maybe he will be champ. this year. I'll keep you posted on the eye situation. Stay cool, it's supposed to be 90 deg. here today, then storms and a cool down, but only into the 80s. Those poor people in the midwest, I wish I could do something for them, and there were more tornados yesterday. Stay well - good to hear from you. Joan
Hi Sarah - Kyle should have gotten the ifne not Richard, but Kyle thinks he can "punt" anyone during or after the race. I am glad someone had the guts to smack him. Hope he got a really black eye LOL.. Eye problems still exist, am on drops for a few more weeks. Can see OK, but lost not 20/20 in left eye like it was. Anyway, we will wait and see what happens, I have fluid in the back of the eye and the drops are supposed to clear that up. Hope it works. Keep in touch - Joan. Am sending RG a Father's Day card. Joan
Hi Sarah hope you are well and enjoying the good weather. We are having a great one here (at least until it rains later). I am livid once again at NASCAR, Johhn Sauder was winning the truck race and in good position to get ahead in the points, they black flagged him on the final re-start, and took his win away and his points. They really get me riled. I have not even checked the points for RG, since Wimmer can't seem to finish a race for him. Why he even considered Wimmer is a mystery to me - Sauder was a better choice, but I guess he couldn't do Pocono - he was in Texas for the truck race. Even PJ Jones would have been a better choice, although he crashed the car last year in qualifying at Pocono. RG can't seem to get any good breaks. Still putting drops in eyes and using dark glasses. Next appt. is the 21st. Keep in touch - Joan
Hey Sarah - you haven't checked in for a while. How was your 4th - I can't believe we are on the downside of summer already. I was happy to have a 3-day weekend. RG had some bad luck at Daytona, and is just hanging in at 35th. I sure wish he could consistently get into the 20s at least. Getting the Milan checked out at the shop to make sure it's in good condition in case I take a trip. Would like to visit my friend who lives in Salisbury, MD. I still have some vacation left, even with all those doctor visits. Hope you are well. Love Joan
HI - Areyou driving to KY? or flyig out. That's a long drive, even from W. Va. - I have no idea what Robby is doing, he did an off-road, was last. Then was 34th last weekend, it is like his heart isn't in it. Hope you have a wonderful time. Car checked out ok, even though it has high mileage, was well taken care of. We will see how it goes to ge down to MD. Love - have a good day at the races Joan
Hi Sarah - WOW 4 states in six hours. It takes me 3 hrs. just to get 90 miles to the Jerey Shore (we go to Cape May) - that is because the traffic is HORRIBLE! Last time we sat or crept in 90 deg. heat on the two lane highway that leads to shore points. I was glad I had a rental, my old '92 Sable would never have made it. LOL. Have a great time, hope the weather holds Love Joan
Hey Sarah - where are you? I don't know none of my "friends" on theplanet have been kekeping in touch. This week is Pocono - he never does well there, when I went to the race JJ won. What else is new - was glad to see Paul win, he hasn't had a win - he deserved it. Sorry RG lost his engine, he just has horrible luck. The whole planet should get together and take this curse off him. LOL. Take care, keep in touch. Joan
It's been a long time since a certain someone posted a 4am message on my page. So had you not been to sleep or just waking up? Hope you ended up getting some sleep. Will talk to you soon.
Hey Sarah! Been thinking about you too. Haven't spent much time here lately, seems like it's only one big gripe session anymore. Even when I was up at 1 am and couldn't sleep, never thought to surf over here! Too bad we were up at different times, coulda chatted. Hope all is well with you. Thanks for thinking of me!
Haha thanks, I actually thought about it after we walked from literally the opposite side of the 3 floor mall....at the door. Good times, I love that showcar. I want my own full scale die-cast, lol
I was just wondering about Susan and you write on my wall -- you must be reading my mind again. Please keep me updated.
Things are going good here just too darn hot!!!!
Yea I was really looking forward to seeing you in KY as well and to meet Jaci. Please tell her I enjoy her tweets.
Have a great week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for Mousing on by my page!!!!! Things are slow here
working the Indy races Sat and Sun at the track! Hope all is well your way!!! Miss you, and Love you more!!!!!!! MUAH
Hi Sarah - I get so pissed at NASCAR. Yesterday and on the speed finals they had RG at 21st at Watkins Glen, today "official" results put him 4th what the ???? That's a difference of quite a few points and keeps his 36th NASCAR is so unfair, especially against RG, they want him to pack it in and get out of their faces, and I hope he just keeps on keep'in on. I wish he could win and few and put their noses in it. Joan
Hi Sarah - I have not checked stanings today, but RG simply wrecked his car in Montreal - just racing carelessly and instead of a good finish (he wrecked in 4th place) had a DNF - and then Sauder did not make the show on Sunday, so RG didn't have an entry. I didn't watch, Kyle Busch won, JJ 2nd and Kenseth was 3rd but they didn't even interview him. I am so sick of them Jeffy Gordon was like 4th or 5th and they did interview him (of course). When Robby wrecked, I turned off the race, I did not care which Canadian won the race it was a moot point. I was glad that Boris Said was out and several others I don't care for got their cars beat up. That was a real wreck fest. Joan
Hi Sarah - I was sitting at my desk and there was this bump and I thought a car in the parking garage hit a pole, but a few seconds later and for almost 5 minutes the building shook, my computer was rocking back and forth and the doors to the conference room were vibrating. I heard some things fall in the file room and offices and I grabbed my purse and headed for the emergency stairwell. I stood there and waited to see if any more tremors were coming, but it was quiet. I was in the hall, and one man siad there was a quake near Virginia & DC - but that is so far away from here. One guy said he was looking over our office campus and could see the other buildings swaying. I was alone in the office and must say it was pretty scary. I know you are down there, and it must have shook you up too. Hope no damage. I saw there some cars were crushed, that would kill me if my car was under debris. Hope you are OK. I see that RGM has changed their site to Speedenergy.com - so I added that to my favorites. Take care - keep in touch. Joan
Hi sarah - I just read about a place (near you?) that opened last Oct. called the Inn at Willow Grove, a 1778 plantation that they turned into an inn It's at 14079 Plantation way, Orange VA and rooms start at $250.00 have you visited there? Joan
Hello Sarah, It has been a long time hasn't it? I fell out of touch with (all forms) of racing this year. But i am sure you will here from me more often now. Dakar is a great passion. The new coarse seems to better suited to Robby this year. Fingers crossed. p.s. love the avitar.
