Hey Sherri!

Yeah thats me in the pics lol. I am a manager for the basketball team at WKU. I can hardly go a few days without a computer, much less 2 months, lol. Hawks are pretty bad this year, they may be able to get a 7 or 8 seed but too much turn over from last years team.

Well....I am at RWI now. I am Coaching and Carrying for them. Carrying on the 62 for Michael Annet. I am waiting still to hear if I am helping Robby. I want to but I am in a little bit of Limbo. I am helping out R# motorsports as well as a coach. I will also be carrying on a few truck teams throughout the year. I have some other options for cup but I'd like to do Robby's. Just waiting to hear.

I was going to pen pal you. I would have a really rough time without my computer. Sorry it took so long to realize you were back on. I am a little behind on my computer stuff, since I did not come on much this week. Did a bunch of shoveling.....

Things are good with us here. Doesn't look like too much snow here, but it's pretty hard, dense and packed down from the wet stuff that came down yesterday. Some pretty high piles by the driveway.

So Robby's year hasn't been super great so far, but the year is young. I hope he is at least getting some good exposure for his drink, since that seems to be heavily sponsoring his racing now. Do you ever drink any of those energy drinks? A few guys at work do, but I've never tried one. Coffee and eventually some good food is my routine.

How are the Sharks doing this year? I cannot wait to at least be able to livestream again. I am looking for a new place, and I am hoping to find that the 'right' place will have fast internet cable stuff available.

We are 10-12 but have won 4 of our last 5. We play this Saturday at 3 Central on ESPN2. I think we have a chance at winning the conference tournament but this season has been a bit of a disappointment. I saw the Sharks got Eager, he is what the Hawks need: good defensively and brings a bit of physicality to the game. Thats what has frustrated me with this team; no defense and lacking physical play.

Hi Sherri! Have not been on the computer since my last message to you. Both tomorrow evening and Thursday are going to be rough, as we have to be back at the school each night for the last two cheerleading things. How is the new computer holding up? Hi Sherri! Are you getting the heat wave? Supposed to be 50 on Friday here. It turns out tonight was the last night for cheerleading, so I am off the hook for tomorrow. I still need to get a pic to you. BTW, have you thought about your attire for this race season? The chicken would look pretty slick in a Speed Energy outfit. Just a little food for thought. Thanks Sherri, I am a lucky Dad. 3 great sons. Joe and Tyler are Coasties stationed close to home (Lucky) and Justin lives with his Mom 5 miles away(at my place most of the time)he's 13 and wants to be a Coastie like the brothers. Yes we have a blast!!!

Hi Sherri! How is PA? We have had a busy week again. We had to work on a school project at night, and tonight we went to a book reading night at the school and celebrated Dr Zeuss's Bday (sometime this week). It included dinner which was a real deciding factor. We are also without heat tonight. The thermostat does not appear to be functioning, or something related. Ugh. Hey Sherri good to hear from you. Yes, Robby's finish in Phoenix was a bummer but I am just glad he is still racing. He truly is the most independent driver. I think there should be a season end reward from Nascar for that. It would show others that it can be done without being on a "mega" team. Hope you are doing well, sorry it's 80 degrees here lol Billy

Hi Sherri! Don't know what happened, but I see Robby did mediocre on Sunday. I have had some crazy couple days here. I borrowed someone's empty house Sat night and did laundry at leisure, ate food, watched tv. Sunday snowed all day and it took me 4 hours to make a 1hr 45 min trip back here. UGH. Then we had a snow day here today, and my unreliable child care blew me off. It did not matter too much, cause I spent 6 trips outside to try to shovel the driveway clean. I could not get out even if I used the 4 wheel drive. Needless to say my back is really sore. I did manage to go to work this afternoon for 3 hours, and will make a few more up this week. Did you guys get all the snow the last 2 days? There was a state of emergency on the Ithaca roads this morn, and no travel till 8:30 am. Crazy stuff.

The heater finally got fixed. First they put in a new thermostat, and it worked good for a day, and then the heat would not respond again, only it was hot in here, which is the first way it started acting up in the first place! I did dig out my space heater, and it took the edge off, but it was really cold getting ready for work and school Fri. morn. At least it seems to be working properly now. So have you heard from your MIA friend yet? It's okay to get worried, you know I am a worry wort too. :) Take care and TTYL! Lynda

Hi Sherri! I assume the warmer spring weather is in PA, too? I heard a lot of birds tonight and it was awesome. All that dense snow we got a week ago is almost totally gone. Had to say hi on your page, but will PM a bunch of catching up. :)

Hi Sherri! Did you get any of this snow? We actually had a school snow day today. I was lucky and blessed that one of the friends I have here could help me out with child care! She gave me cookies they made too! This weather is crazy.

We are going to a maple festival this weekend. I cannot think of many things better than maple syrup, maple sugar, maple sugar candy, maple cream, spun maple sugar (cotton candy).........did I leave anything out? Hahaha! There will be crafts, vendors, and all things maple.

Is Robby racing past this weekend? I thought he said he would only race the first 5 and then pick and choose. Just like anyone else, I had hoped for a better start, esp. with the manufacturer support. Can you tell me what happened in Bristol? I saw where he was on the leaderboard at 75 laps left, and that is all I know. I don't have time anymore to search on a discussion here, esp. with how slow it is.

I think there is a truck race this friday, (I am hoping). If there is, I will actually get to watch on tv! I guess I should check before I get my hopes up. Take care and TTYL! :) Lynda

Hi Sherri! Thanks for all the info. I am disappointed about the truck race, I thought for sure they raced this weekend. Oh well. I roller skated for the first time since I was a teenager tonight! Hi Sherri! I hope you had the beautiful weather we had here this weekend. We did not really get to enjoy it much, unfortunately. Kesi had a cough most of the week, and is still slowly getting over it. I was actually truly sick this weekend for the first time in about a year. I had a wicked fever yesterday and last night, super sore throat and neck, swollen glands. Ugh. I give Kesi a lot of credit, she watched a few movies, read lots of books, and occupied herself well. I am feeling a bit better today, but now my sinuses are acting up, which I guess is to be expected. I was hoping we could go to the big NYS Maple festival this weekend, but couldn't.

It looks like Robby had a decent run today in Martinsville. I hope he can keep it up. I wasn't sure he was racing this weekend, and realized I hadn't even checked in on here in a while. Do you know if he is racing next weekend? I saw he had a different sponsor, too. That is so good. I really hope he can have a few good runs in a row here.

Well it comes down to the final game of the season for the Hawks. Any type of win or OTL gets them in or a Dallas loss or SO win.

If the Hawks get in theres a pretty good chance they'll get to play the Sharks in the first round. Its either the Sharks or Canucks and i'd rather play the Sharks only because i think the Hawks luck against Vancouver would eventually run out this year, though there is the Presidents Trophy curse...

Yeah I am rooting for the Sharks tonight, because there is like a .5% that the Hawks can get the 5th seed (lol they can finish 5th-9th) and they need a Coyotes regulation loss tonight.

Good job Sharks! So this is how it was explained to me... If the Hawks win tomorrow, they are the 5 seed. An OTL and they are the 7 seed, a loss and a Dallas loss and they are the 8 seed, and a loss and a Dallas win in regulation or OT (not a SO) and the Hawks are out.

Wow, unbelievable. Thats just how the season has gone for the Hawks, pathetic. Now we have to pray that the Wild can beat the Stars. Ugh, gonna be a nerve-racking next few hours for me.
