Oh no, you didn't turn me off. It is a goal of mine to make it to a Bristol race, but I won't be able to go this year. My boss is taking that week off and she won't let me be out at the same time. I was bummed. Do you know Sarah? She usually has Bristol tickets too, but she has already sold them for this fall. She has invited me go to the fall New Hampshire race and then plan something for Bristol next year. Would you be up for that? We are talking about trying to get a group of members together. She has met some other members at Talladega and New Hampshire races so far this year. I think it would be so cool to meet the people we talk with here. So far, I have met one PR member at the Michigan race.

Yes, we will definitely have to talk about renting the house. It would be fun to get a bunch of us together. It seems like a few try to meet or at least let others know that they will be at a race, so they can try to get together. It is harder when everyone has different seats and only have time to meet for awhile at the trailer. Do you go to other races, or just the two Bristol races? Now that I have gone to my first race, I've become hooked. I guess like other sports, the races are better live. It just seems like before the economy got bad, race tickets were harder to get, especially for the good races, like Bristol.

Another race weekend is upon us and Robby's car looking good. Are you ready for some racing tomorrow? So how was your first week at the new school? I don't think I've ever asked you, what grade do you teach?

The end was definitely exciting, unfortunately, I think that it was the only exciting part other than the restarts.

I do financial reporting for my company. I live just 10 minutes northwest of Columbus, OH. I've been to both Kings Island & Cedar Point, we are right in between them both. I prefer Cedar Point because it has more roller coasters which are my favorite. We don't go anymore, because my husband won't go on roller coasters.

Yeah, but I would have been very disappointed had I gone up there and he only ran 1/2 the race. Wish it could have turned out better. Next race maybe.

We were in line at 8am and he was going to be there at 9:45am. There was only one other person in line at the time, but it soon got busy. I'm watching the modified race right now and then the trucks. Stands are empty, why aren't you there?

I've been to Bristol. Stayed on the TN side, but visited Bristol Caverns. We were going to go to the track, but it was closed. Have fun and take something to get signed. I brought a Jim Beam hat for him to sign and I bought a RG Motorsports ticket lanyard and he signed that as well. He is really nice. It will be cool that Paul Menard is there too.

I'm glad you are having a good time. It had it's moments of good and boring. There was some good side-by-side racing and wrecking. Was the drunk guy a Jr. fan? I can't wait to hear about your meeting with Robby. Good luck posting the pictures, it's really easy.

I'm so sorry. My experience was much better, I was in the front of the line, but we stayed around and watched him sign for everyone. He even asked me a question, was really talkative, signed 2 things for me and then we got a picture. He did talk some to the guy in the trailer with him, but always between people. You should have asked for a picture anyway, did others get pictures? Well, when I come down there, hopefully next August, if the trailer is there, we will have to make it up to you. :) Sounds like he just got in a rush. Yeah, he certainly hasn't had very good results lately. The best part of the race was the last 3 laps between Kyle and Mark.

It was a great race and would have been even better, but for a couple problem pit stops. That's the way things go and everyone has there problems. I'm really looking forward to the Prelude.

We are leaving Thursday after work around 4pm. Looking forward to it and vacation afterwards. Going to see 3 new states, Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine.

We just got back at midnight. My goal is to visit all of the states. I have 17 more to go, 1 of them is actually a do-over (Hawaii) because I didn't visit the State Capitol building when we went before, there is more I want to see and who wouldn't want to go back to Hawaii. I only have 16 Capitols to visit because we stopped at the NY Capitol on the way through on this vacation, but I haven't even been to NYC or the rest of the state, except Niagara Falls (been there twice now).

It's been a month. I haven't been around here much myself. I'm not sure Robby gets much press over at NASCAR.com, I haven't even looked, is the new crew chief news on there? I've been good. I've been working on getting my pictures from vacation organized. I will send you the link once I'm done. Still trying to decide which races I'm going to next year. Since Robby's season has gone to crap, I'm enjoying college football and waiting for Baja. I can't believe this year is almost over, it has gone so quickly. We went to the Loudon race in September and then traveled around NH, VT and ME. My first time in the northeast. We are going back next year to visit CT, RI & MA. I'm already starting to plan it. I love vacation planning, it gives me something to do in the racing off season.

I'm not a tech genius either, I married a tech guy, although not sure he's a genius. He does get most of my computer problems worked out.

Yes, it was great actually seeing Robby on TV and running up front most of the race. He was so close to a great finish, unfortunately I guess it wasn't meant to be. Only 3 more races until this season is over. I keep hoping his luck will turn around. Today, the car was good, so maybe there is still a chance.

I still have to work both tomorrow and Wednesday, but I'm taking Monday off so I have a longer holiday. I'm going to Daytona in February. Got tickets for the Duals, Truck, Nationwide and Daytona 500. I'm so excited.

Actually they are our friends tickets. They have been going for years, but the husband needs rotator cuff surgery and will be out for 3-4 months. They didn't want to lose their seats, so we are using them this year.

We left Tuesday afternoon, we stayed the night in Beckley, WV and got here around 6:30 pm today. It's not real warm here, but I'm glad to get out of the snow. We got back home late last night. The last 80 miles were the really treacherous and took twice as long as it should have. We have even more snow now and expecting more next week. How many days have you been off from school? We hit some snow in Beckley, but not as bad as I was expecting. We had a great time in Daytona other than the cold weather. I would go back again. Yes, I'm disappointed. It will be the 3rd race this year I've attended thinking he would be there (Indy 500 & Prelude are the other 2). No surprise, I actually had a feeling earlier this year this would happen. I will catch him at a race again someday.

Well, we had fun in New Hampshire even though Robby didn't race. I've posted pictures of that race on my page. I also went to the Brickyard last weekend and those pictures are posted as well. Just my luck, he blew a tire by lap 15. Been a crazy year for RGM and afraid it is going to get worse before it gets better. I hope you are enjoying your summer, I'm enjoying mine.

We are heading to Colorado the weekend of the Bristol race and will back home the following weekend. So I won't make it down this year. I will try to work on it for next year.
