Glad to hear the job is going well. Maybe things will take a turn for the better now. Hope you will change your mind about going west for the June race. You know you will be missed if you are not there. Who is going to help Jaci and me drink the wine??
Susan is in a different rehab place. Hoping she gets to go home in a week. She is disappointed she has missed some racing events. Told her when she is well again, we can make up for it.

I am waiting to hear from Susan tonight before I send the weekly email update. A plastic surgeon is being consulted to help with her wound. If he/she can't help her, she could be looking at 6 more months of healing time. It just never ends!!

Susan had the reconstructive surgery yesterday. She seemed in excellent spirits when I spoke to her around 6. I called her as I was going to a party at her niece's house. We all think Susan was still hyped on some drugs due to the comments she made. Thanks so much for the prayers. She really appreciates it!

Thinking Jaci and I are both going to bring some wine too. Seems I will have plenty of $$ to get some extra bottles as I won't be spending any on Robby gear. Tog confirmed his trailer won't be in NH again. Hate buying stuff online as I would rather see it first.

Doesn't look like that will work out. Jerry's got to get a lot of stuff done at work out before we leave, so it looks like we are back to arriving sometime Friday evening. Which means I miss qualifying. :( I'm gonna still try though, as Jerry likes to make mountains out of mole hills.

Picked up some wine tonight. Got enough so everyone has their own bottle and then some! You know if I get us some of those reusable water bottles, we can take some with us to the track. I mean really, there is no 'official wine of Nascar' yet. I think we could submit a proposal, and then get PAID to be the 'official taste testers'! You know Mike Helton knows I would be honest about my opinion. Besides he still owes me for side-stepping my Robby question in 'Dega!

Hey Path - heard about the exciting weekend, camp fire suppers and birthday cake. One of these days, I'd like to join the fun. This week at Daytone I was really happy Robby didn't have a DNF and came in 12th. Also glad Harvick won, hope he doesn't falter during the last half of the chase year. How about Jr. winning in the Number 3 - maybe that's a good omen. Keep in touch - Joan

When at riverside raceway when Bob was running in the SCORE offroad event I say 1976 my then wife and my brother watched over Robby as a he was a very active kid and had a Tonka jeepster with a handle, he would push it over the rough terrain and thru the crowds
