Who cares if they love it?? If it is allowed in the door, have fun with it! Seriously wondering if the things will be banned from the World Cup in the future.
Have you ever spoken to your employer? Gotta start there. Wonder if you are just taken for granted. If talking doesn't work, stop doing some of the extras. I don't mean not do your job, but when asked to work that extra, etc. you MAY say no! Sometimes people don't realize how they treat others. When they are dealing with a 'yes' person, they think all will be ok automatically with them. The only way they learn otherwise is if you say 'no' now and then. Be respectful, but say 'no' ! If you are already treated like crap, what do you have to loose?
I am only confused as to who is not being good to you. As someone who has people under me so to speak, I have to ask why you skipped the steps on the ladder? If the person who is immediately above you is the one who takes you for granted, then they need to be spoken to. Ever think they may be ticked at you for disrespecting them?
It is hard in this economy to just walk away as you don't know if you can find other employment. Almost have to take what you can get. My thought would be to still say no now and then to the extras. It is great to help, but you cannnot be a doormat. I hope this works out for you.
I know how you feel , San Jose's GM is cleaning house again . No more Nabokov , Blake is retiring , plus who knows who might also be going elsewhere .
Isn't it weird that the Hawks won the Cup , yet here they are breaking up the team ? I'm also kind of surprised about them trading Eager , that guy seemed to be everywhere during the play offs . I guess we'll both have some new names to learn this season .
Kind of a bummer about PJ not driving the car this weekend , but with Bobby at least we'll get to see him run the whole race . Good business decision on Robby's part .
Having Bobby in the car sure beats being a S&P any day . I hated the thought of Robby having to make that decision , but this proves that sometimes things come together at just the right time .
I'm thinking the upcoming hockey season is going to be an interesting one .
That sounds like a good day to go . Because they had the flooding there , did the arena where the Predators play get any damage? I can't remember if it was ever reported if it did or not .
Saw an article today about the hockey stuff. Interesting that Huet isn't panning out. He seemed like he was going places. Have a great weekend. Heading to the House of Mouse in the am. Once there, there is little time for posting!!
Huet did do well when he was with the Washington franchise. Wonder what happened to him. As for the article, was that a serious thing? Where did that come from? I enjoy a good rivalry in Nascar and feel there are more needed for the 'entertainment' side of things, but I don't want my two drivers to be at the top of the list!
I had not seen Wilford until you brought it to my attention. I have been busy playing catch up from my long weekend. Races were good and the company was great. I always have a good time with my fellow Planeteers.
Looking forward to Daytona!!
That's too bad . How many players have been traded so far ? The GM is sure doing some major house cleaning . Of course it's all because of the salary cap , teams are dumping as many players as they can to remain under it . I think it stinks .
For better or worse salary caps are a part of most sports . As for baseball , I got fed up with the Yankees buying the championship almost every year by signing players to huge amounts of money . It sucks to see the same team winning the series all the time . It's been nice the past few years to see other teams win it .
Do you think Chicago will at some point in the season wish they hadn't broken the team up ? They are pretty much doing what the Penguins did after they won the cup , they let a number of players go . It all boils down to the almighty dollar , and the best way to save as much money as it is possible to do . As a fan what can you do but go on cheering for your team, and hope they do well .
Another one ? Wow. I don't think Kane has to worry about being traded , I don't think the GM would even so much as think about trading him . But then stranger things have happened before ......
Maybe the only reason they still have Huet is because they haven't found another team willing to take on his large contract , plus the fact that he may not have what another team is looking for .
Don't know what is going on with your team. Is it salary caps, the need for new blood 'cause of the age of the team, or just something the GM decided he wanted to do from a bad dream he had? CAPS have been staying stable so far. GM said he is just looking for a player to fill a particular position so I think all is well there. The team he has works well together so why mess with it?? Hope all these changes for the Hawks work out in the end.
Have a Happy Daytona weekend!
I just saw that Duncan Keith will be the Grand Marshall on Sat . After the year he has had , this probably isn't all that exciting for him . I hope he does a better job than a lot of others have done.
