Taking on the Cow huh!?!? He is the biggest Sharks fan here. Now that the theme in the DC area is 'C'ya Sidney', I feel better about what is to come in the playoffs. Think I am going to pull up a chair and watch this online 'battle' between the two of you. May the best team win!

I am only an hour and half away. It is not so much as I am a drinker, but can you imagine the entertainment value? Kinda reminds me of Dega a few years ago. Yes, I was there in that section which seats mostly RCR fans. Only maybe 2-3 Hendrick fans in the section and they learned to keep their mouths shut. (Hate felony motorsports!) There is no way for a person who has not been there to truly appreciate the arms on the throwers!!

Bears won in OT last night in their quest for the Calder Cup. They won last year so back to back titles would be nice. If you are like me, it is nice to watch the minor league teams as you never know who will be tomorrow's stars. Have a great Sunday.

Hi Alex ! Congrats to the Hawks , they played a hell of a good series against the Sharks , and earned their trip to the finals . I think they might have their hands full with the Flyers , they are pretty much unstoppable right now . Looking forward to a great series . Good luck to the Hawks !

The Blue Jackets huh , won't be much of a game unless the Jackets play a whole lot better than they did this past season . They ranked up there with the Oilers as the most pathetic team IMO .

Hawks are looking good but I wouldn't count the Flyers out just yet . Game 3 is going to be a good one .

Through the play offs the one player I have been impressed by is The Buff ,(there is no way I can spell his last name). He has done a great job against each team the Hawks have faced .

I see the Hawks are doing well. Guess this means your Memorial weekend was a good one.
Indy was a blast! We got to meet/see lots of the drivers. Lots of celebrities too. Seemed like Kim K. was everywhere. Pretty girl too. Tony K. and Helio are just like you see on tv. I witnessed Danica being VERY nice to some people in the crowd. She is just a little thing. My favorite though was Sarah Fisher. What a doll!!

Milka was not there. I met or saw the other ladies as all the drivers did autographs. I only had my pic taken with Sarah Fisher as Jaci and I went our separate ways during autograph time. I have some good pics of Danica. She was the ONLY driver to come out and socialize with some of the crowd after the session. I have pics to prove it. The rookies had to get to a ? and A session and others had other obligations too. All were nice. I have some great close ups of Tony K as we talked for a bit. Helio posed for me when I asked to get a photo as his line for autographs was waaayyy tooooo looonnngg. All in all a great time!
Also it was VERY cool you got to touch the Kelly Cup.

Yeah I remember the being so happy last year after losing the in the cup finals in 2008. Then go into the city for the parade with 250,000 people going crazy... What a amazing feeling so enjoy it

I say enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!! Is it an option to go to the parade and whatever else the Hawks might do to celebrate? If so, you should go. Nothing better than to be in a crowd of people celebrating a championship with all that high energy. Caution on the souvys. Emotions will want to buy everything you can think of, but just get the stuff you will most treasure. I am glad you are getting this time to celebrate. On a personal note, I am glad I don't have to listen to some PA people bragging either. lol!!

I hear you on the goal. I related it to the baseball call that went bad earlier this week. Rather have them be sure and have the Hawks win be fair, then to have fans of other teams scream foul. Not a sharks fan huh!?!? Guess it was safer to put it on my page than the Cow's. I know they are his team. Like some racing videos, hockey videos never seem to grow old. Believe it or not, I have an Avalanche jersey with my name on it. It is from a local inline hockey league some friends of mine and I started here many years ago.
