Hey look at the time. Where is everybody??

Heading there now. Only working til noon as the big PAR-TAY is tonight. Been walking around in the 3" heels this morning to make sure they won't hurt my feet tonight. Not that it matters, as the shoes are 'lost' around 9ish or when the alcohol kicks in with everyone.

Big ol' retiement party tonight for 4 of my friends and former teachers. Don't let their age fool you. We always have a wonderful time together and tonight will be no exception, Last count there were 230 some wild folks coming. I got a hotel room for the night even though the hotel where the party will be is only 10 minutes max away. It is like that song, "we got drinkin all night, then after the show its the (after party) and after the party its the (hotel lobby) and round about 4 you gotta (clear the lobby), then take it to the room and" still more party.

Just to give you an idea. This is the before shot. It was taken around 6:30pm before the guest starting to arrive.

These were taken after midnight or so when the party was breaking up to go elsewhere in the hotel. The staff just gave up trying to keep up with us.

Plastic cups = mixed drinks. There should be little cups for the jello shots on the tables too. Up right now and getting ready to head to church. Back here for late breakfast. I will see about later as some friends may want to do something while they are in town.

Hey. Thanks for stopping by. I haven't said hey to you in while either so don't feel bad. Yep, only 25 days of school left. I am so excited. That's awesome that you are going to Indy. I did go to Bristol last month. Robby had a pretty good day that day so I was happy. It seems like things may really be turning around. I hope. I don't have a lot of time right now, but I will be back soon to look at your new pictures.

I think I slept some. I know I was not real peppy today as I am not a morning person. Waking up that early only took away from going to bed before midnight. Going to be up until one tonight to get back on schedule.

Those are some great pictures of Daytona. You must have had seats really close to the track. I have only ever been to Bristol. I couldn't imagine going to a race and not being able to see all the way around the track. But I guess that's the way it is most places.

A second place for Harvick and Robby is still in the top 35 in points. Not a bad race weekend for us. Could have been better, but I will take it.

I can wear Robby gear. Wish I knew where I stored an old IRL shirt of his from the mid-90's. Once he signed it, I put it away. Not sure who I am going to cheer for next week. Ryan for sure, but I would love to see one of the ladies take the race. I have to get a Milka shirt for a huge fan of hers I know. He is going to help take care of the banquet stuff I am supposed to do that weekend, so I feel I owe him at least a shirt.

Looked where I thought the old Robby shirt would be and I didn't find it. Found some Miller Racing stuff with Danny Sullivan on it and Eddie Cheever autographed stuff. Got to continue looking. Bet I would find it if I looked for something else!!

Well I am off to bed now. Just finished watching one of the most screwed up movies I have ever seen. It was like a train wreck. I knew I shouldn't look, but I couldn't help myself. The worst part is I want to know what happens next!!!

Yep, I have been up for about a half hour now. Thinking about what to wear for work as it is only supposed to be 60 today. Oh well as long as it is not snow, I am good!! Have a great work day.

Just in case you missed it, unless I am heading to a racing event, I am NOT a morning person!! You should be safe when I visit as we will be doing racing things, but on a regular basis- watch out!

OMG NO COFFEE!! I will have one of those sugared up concoctions now and then or ice coffee, but not often and not 2 days in a row. More of an orange juice lady in the morning. Still not always a nice lady in the morning, but like the orange juice.

I AM DONE!! The seating charts for the banquet this weekend are done!!! The 186 people who RSVP'd, the jazz band and the ROTC all have their seats. Programs were delivered today at work. Just got to get the rest of the decorations out of the attic and all is complete!!

Already had an email this morning asking me to seat 3 people somewhere else. These people KNEW the deadline for reservations, etc. was this weekend. I responded with a firm, "NO".

Hey girl - thinking of you as Indy approaches. Just like I was when RG announced he was running the Prelude again! You guys going? Are you already en route to Indy? Have a great time! Who you pulling for in the 500? Give a shout to Ryan during driver intros for me. Always liked Vitor too. First IRL race we saw live was the season opener in Homestead a few years back. He started near the back and picked off just about everyone on the track until he had problems, but I was impressed. Hasn't done much lately to keep my interest but he drove the wheels off that day. Enjoy your race weekend!

Wish I could answer your questions!! I had someone call me today and ask if they could buy tickets. It never stops. Just got all the stuff for the banquet into the car. Now I have to get MY stuff together. I am going to try to leave work around noon. I will have to stop here for a couple of things I don't want sitting in the car (like the wine!!) and then I will try to head your way. You need to email me directions from 70 to your house!!
BTW, I say try to leave work as my boss just realized I was not going to be there over end of month. OH WELL!! He is a big boy and I am sure he will get along just fine. He asked me for my cell # and I just laughed!!!! Emma said she even knew I would not answer a phone while at the races. (Remind me to tell you about an unfortunate call at Darlington 15 years ago!)
