Yeah i was with my friends from church tonite we went to a bar/restuarant in greensburg pa... I can have fun like you without alcohol now... I will miss a little bit of the race because im going to feed the homeless... I really like giving back now

Went to Maine yesterday with Sis and got back late so didn't see race! RG is hanging tough! Give Susan our love and tell her the prayers are wafting heavenward!

Hi I am so mad at the commentators (except McReynolds-but yes him too) He did say at the end of the race that Robby got run over, and there was a 3 car wreck with Ryan Newman and after the race none of them said if the drivers were OK or hurt. I sure hope Robby was OK because he got it in the driver's side. All of those drivers have fans who want to know if thir guy is OK after a wreck. I tried to get through on Despaine last night to air my opinion, but never got through. Joan

As for hockey... I don't really care who wins now. If one of the Thunder Bay boys wins that will be good I guess. I am still following the games though. The match ups seem to be close this year so that makes for an enjoyable game no matter who is playing.
Is Ovechkin getting raked through the coals down in the DC area? The sports media up here in Canada have been really hard on him since they got knocked out. There has been a lot of thought that the coach is going to get fired because the team couldn't cope with Montreals tactics.
I'm getting a big screen and HD receiver after work today. The rest of the playoffs should be good to watch.

Glad to hear something positive about Susan! This was my marathon week! I started on the 2nd at Kay's but also worked some at BonTon this week! I figure between the two places I worked about 50 hours this week!

Sis and I went to the NH Sheep and Wool Festival this am and it rained of course! I'm in negotiations for a whole alpaca fleece. It's a dark red/deep maroon color! I met the alpaca and his fleece is fabulous!

I have a friend thats a vendor and sells pittsburgh steelers, pens, pirates and some college teams at the car auctions i go to in pa... He sells cleveland sucks tee shirts... I havent seen any washington sucks tee shirts up here for hockey.... Is your friend at a hospital in pittsburgh?

I just thought you said your friend was in a hospital in pa... Thats why i asked if she was in the hospital in pittsburgh.... I didnt think she was from pittsburgh... Im sorry to hear thats shes not out yet... I will pray for your friend... Ive went to some hospitals in pittsburgh to visit and pray for people. I can put her on some prayer list too... My friend fell 50 ft for a rope swing last labor day weekend... I got to the hospital with my pastor that night my friend Brittany broke her neck, lower back, punctured both lungs, broken arm, multiple fractures in all of her ribs... I watched God heal her just like God is gonna heal your friend...

I know its hard watching her struggle... I know she is thankful to have a great friend like you... I will keep praying for her and pray for strength for you... Be blessed....

Hi I'm back! We went down to Cape May Friday and stayed Fri. & Sat. nights, came home Sunday. We had a great room, called a "breezeway" in the corner of the bldg. where it turned L-shaped bldg. We did not have any neighbors - only overhead and the room was quiet. A large window, sitting room, small fridge, TV and a nice bath/dressing room. It was only $109 per night. Saturday was windy, but sunny and we ate lunch outside at Zoe's (really good food everything home made). Friday we ate dinner at a place on the beach and watched the ocean and the feral cats that live on the dunes. We had Cape May wine and sea scallops and the best Key lime pie. On Sunday it was sunny down the shore, but the wind was about 50 mph. We could not walk on the beach without eating a lot of sand. We bought some mew duds I gpt a new Cape May cardigan, and Gail got a new navy hoodie and a brown tee that fits really nice. We killed one king-size mosquito in our room on Sat. that was all. We had water in the fridge and some snacks while we watched the race. The big story was the wind. When we got home the tree in front of our apartment had lost a couple of big branches, and we saw trees down all over the place. Glad we were at the shore. Nice trip, now its back to the same ole, same ole. Joan

Hello Babe!!!! NEVER hesitate to "run across" my page! I love it when you do and it does inspire me to get back here and post again!!! So i got home Thursday night to find out my favorite minor league hockey team, The Cincinnati Cyclones (AA Affiliate of the Canadiens) are in the Kelly Cup Finals, its been a good year for my hockey teams but thats been about it for my sports teams, lol.

Don't forget Mike, he'll be there too! I think we need to wear Robby gear and have everyone wondering if we are in the wrong place. We'll just say, "What, you mean Robby's not running Indy this year?"
