Hey haven't heard from you in a long time. I finally got to work today, we are under mountains of snow here in Philly. I am glad we didn't lose power, but it sure packed a punch over 40" on the ground and expecting more on Monday. Global warming? No they just sent us the snow from the North pole. Joan

Snow is not melting as fast as the last one did, although by now it's quite 'crunchy'. We have a 'winter weather advisory' for tonight...1 to 2" of snow/sleet. Hoping they are wrong.

Missed you in Daytona, and from the comments below I see I missed your birthday too! Hope it was a good one and you took a break from your diet to enjoy some cake! What's the update on your progress?

HO Sweetie!! Seems we are back to normal here as the snow we were to get yesterday turned out to be just a "powder sugar" snow. Then to top that off, I get home from work and someone plowed just the parking spots of myself and close neighbors. YEAH!! Now I need to figure out who to thank.
Hope you and Mouse are keeping warm. Maybe we can do a chat soon to update each other on happenings. Tell Mouse to send out the invites!

Well I for one am glad you are home. I hope the trip was successful. My boss tell's me you are getting ready to get some white stuff your way. (re: his son goes to school up there) We have had some warmer weather and a little rain here or there. Hope that is all we are going to get the rest of the winter.

I had a great time in Daytona. We will all have to go together sometime. I can't believe I won't see you in June and you will be here. That sucks! We will miss you.

It has been gorgeous here! Should be almost 50 by the weekend!! You know how much I love that! Great job on the weight loss. Don't fret over the misbehavin' on the west coast. You can't be good all the time. Imagine how boring life would be.

It is in the low 60's here and I saw at lunch where it can reach almost 70 by next weekend! My kind of weather. Glad the diet is going well. GOOD GIRL!! Now, just what are you rediscovering??

We are getting some flooding in our area too. No wind, but steady rain. Susan didn't get good news last Thurs. Tomorrow at 7am she is having a biopsy done and then results on this Thurs. Fingers crossed and prayers please!!

I guess Mouse didn't tell you her surgery was moved to Monday due to an operating room not being available. We are all getting together with family on Sat. to celebrate Easter as she won't be able to eat for 24 hours before. She should be in for a week and then home. I will keep you posted and thanks so much for the prayers!!

Hey lady!! Thanks for checking in with me. I have been running up and down the road a lot lately. I had GM training yesterday. Yes, I said GM. They are changing a lot of things and I have to be up on them. Funny, the stuff I learned was a lot like the way Toyota currently does things. My primary duties still have to do with the Toyota side so all hope is not lost.
Anyway, this training was in Harrisburg so I stayed at Susan's. She is in rehab and may end up in the hospital again on Tues if all doesn't go so well. I can email or talk to you about it in chat. Gets old seeing a good person go thru so much.
Hope all is well with you my dear. Still wishing you could go to Indy with Jaci and me!

Thanks Path for the thoughts and wishes. Susan appreciates all of them as do I. Big PAR-TAY next weekend for Joyce and Linda (Gibby stayed with her on one of our trips to your area). Looks like Susan will miss it. We all got rooms so the drinking, singing and dancing on the tables should go well into the night. So far about 200 RSVP'd and the band is awsome. Kinda like the party we went to at this time last year in Dega with Robby. Wish someone would have gotten a photo of Mouse dancing on the chair.

I start my new job on May 10th. Not really excited about it as it is not what I want to do but it is a job. Benefits are good but salary is less than 1/2 of what I made before but that seems to be the times right now.

Great news about the job! They're pretty hard to come by these days so this is really good. I'm holding my own. Been a crazy month so not getting on a scale just yet. My mother in law passed away Apr 15 and we had been back and forth to PA to see her as she declined and again for the funeral. She was 95 and it was peaceful. And tonight we head to see the grandkids in Indiana. Oldest one is receiving 1st Communion. I'll be there until May 10. So I'll be too easy to think about eating! But they do live near a Menard's so I'll stop in to buy something, even if it's a role of duct tape! Thanks for dropping by.

Susan had another set back since we last communicated. Looks like she will be in the hospital at least thru Wed. Reevaluation then. She was in a lot of pain again last night. I am going to go see her either tomorrow or later this week. It just never seems to get better for her.

Well not a good night for Robby, but us ladies had a good time chatting anyway. We missed you! Going to PA tomorrow with a group of people. 8 of us going to invade Susan's hospital room for an early birthday surprise. Hope you have a great Sunday!!

Getting around to catching up on some outdated messages & emails. I miss you too & would love to visit you & your beautiful state, unfortunately not this year. Darren will be in his final semester of college & getting ready to graduate & Dylan will be in his sr. year of high school which only means both will be draining the $$$ well dry. However, Tim & I were talking just last night about wanting to take a trip next year so......... We are already experiencing the empty nest & I'm not handling it very well at all. My tears are flowing quite frequently these days. How are things going your way? It's been forever since we've talked & NO I cannot believe it's been 5 years since Hotlanta. Time flies way too fast.
