I've always wanted to go to the Glen but hubby said it would be too hard to see the race. So who said anything about hubby going along - hahahahah. You're packed already??? I wish I could do that. I'm always packing the night before or the morning of a trip. Wish I could do better in that area. Things here going good -- rained all weekend. Got your camera ready for your big trip? Hope you get to see Robby again this trip. Who all is going?

So how was the weekend?

I'm better. Trying to get back in the swing of life after being stuck at home for a week. Sounds like you had a wonderful time. If you have pictures, post them so I can see. Nothing else been going on around here. Just watching Bama on Saturdays & getting ready for homecoming next week. The school has a week's worth of activities including a parade which is always fun. I'm trying to get a float put together for the wrestling team this year. Do I know anything about putting a float together? Absolutely frickin not. But like the rest of my life, I'll just wing it.

It was great meeting you as well. We are having a lot of fun on vacation, unfortunately it is coming to an end and we will have to head home.

Oh, watching Bama on weekends & getting ready for wrestling season to start in a few weeks. Darren (my oldest) is racing in an indoor race Sat. & Sun. I'm sure I'll grow a few more gray hairs from that. They did it last year & for some reason the track seemed a lot faster indoors than on an outdoor track. I've also been trying to keep track of Crapcar, but honestly, when they get into the last of the championship season, it's like why bother. The field fillers (non-championship guys) have to tiptoe around the top 10 or 11 which in my opinion isn't racing at all. By the way, how the heck did Robby end up 2 laps down Sat. night? What's going on your way?

You have no idea how completely happy that would make me. It would almost be like watching the races back when I first started following this sport that has gotten soooooo incredibly boring.

How freakin excited am I?????? I can't wipe the smile off my face. Last time Bama beat lswho at Bryant Denny Stadium was 1999 & we were there to see it. Now we have to face Florida in Dec. - love our team but they're going to have to up their game to beat them. For now, though, loving our victory last night!!!!!

Congrats to your teams!!!. Seems like all of our teams are doing well except for our driver. Maybe today he'll have a decent finish. Things here going good. Just keeping track of SEC football. Dylan's wrestling schedule starts next weekend, however he'll miss the opening tournament due to a separated shoulder injury he got two weeks ago. It's healing pretty good, just erring on the side of caution & keeping him out the first weekend. Fingers crossed it doesn't bother him too much this season. And how are things your way, my friend? What was Lil Leo for Halloween? Oh, by the way, I talked to "Casi" a few weeks ago & she was doing well. Was heading to Tennessee to tie the knot :-)

Hi Honey! Yeah, the tide keeps on ROLLIN - lol. Darren went & had 45 yard line, 3rd row tickets right behind the team. As much as he loves Alabama, I'm surprised he didn't end up on the sideline or on the field. Wrestling has kicked off, but not for Dylan. We're keeping him out another week & starting him on some rehab exercises for his shoulder so fingers crossed he'll be back next week or at least the 1st weekend in Dec. Can't believe Lil Leo is almost 5. Time flies way too quickly. And since you are way ahead on your Christmas shopping, can I send you my list (when I get around to making one) & let you do the shopping for me??? Have a good one.....

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've been on the board. Things have been crazy busy the last month. I do hope Christmas was merry & bright for you & Lil Leo. Darren & I are headed to the BCS national championship game next week. So excited to be going but not looking forward to the plane ride. I'm absolutely not a fan of flying. Sounds like our guy has taken a step back & re-evaluated his life with all of the changes he's making. All I can say is if he's not on the track every race weekend, someone better step up to the plate & give me some excitement on the track. How are things your way?

Aww, Dave, I'm sorry you're missing your little man. I know he's missing his dad but two 1/2 more days & you'll be home with each other. Then after washing all the clothes and getting back to life again, you'll be ready for another trip away -- even if it is business. Oh, Dave, I'm trying to get myself excited about race season, but it's so hard. I will psych myself up for Sunday & of course cheer on Robby. Things here have been going as expected with a 17 year old. Just got his license in Dec. & already had a fender bender in a parking lot. At least we have a year before the rates will go up. Every time he walks out the door my heart just drops. I try to put him in God's hands, but there's still that worry that creeps in. He's scheduled for shoulder surgery Monday so he won't be able to drive for quite a while. Maybe I can work on my gray hair while he's recovering - hahahaha. I got almost 3 feet the first storm as it came from the south. Got an additional 8 inches the second storm, but that was much less than the surrounding area. Today we barely got a dusting as this storm is coming from the west. Never made it to PA either weekend as you can imagine. Going to try to get there this weekend if Susan can find me a place to park. Seems her driveway is full right now.
How much did you get? How was the show? Did you visit the Toyota and Chevy areas? I was looking forward to getting some new stuff too. I still use my red Toyota bag. Take care!!
