My prediction is based on three things:
1) Robby's intermediate program has been getting better all year long (in spite of last week, which was a "test session"). He's been fast in each race, and I feel like it'll click at homestead.
2) A Reason to make the rest of the nascar season worth watching.
3) Hallucinations acting like gust instincts.

I won't be at homestead, I'm stuck in Canada. Make sure you take anything that brings luck.

i'm not sure when i will be in fl.I know my mom is talking about leaving next week after xmas and not comming back unitl the end of January lucky me i have to stay up here and brave the cold weather. But mabye in Feb I really wanna go to the Daytona 500.So bad i never been to that track. I can't remember where my mom said she was staying they are driving down. Her boyfriend has some family down there. Do u play on facebook at all? I'm constally playing on there keeping in touch with family and friends. Wow one more day of class then i'm off for 2 weeks. I don't work that long so i'm trying to find a 2nd job.

I like what you had to say about DP and stooping to gimmicks, and you made a great point about people not hating RG because he is good looking. Every guy wants to accuse women of just being jealous ect. (makes me assume they don't think very highly of us as a gender) The reason I find things annoying, is that the talk is always about her looks, and not about actual racing. I am not jealous of how she looks, nor do I care. I simply don't understand why I have to hear about every guy's wet dreams on here (or anywhere) in racing forums. If a woman truly wants to be respected for talent, brains, and abilities beyond posing for titillating photos, then she should not stoop to the lowest common denomenator for popularity reasons. Of course, if more men tried getting popular that way, it would not be so one sided.......

Hey girly how are you doing? Did you hear that robby's not running full time this year grr . I hope he can at least run some races. So we can watch him. And if i go to a race this year i hope he is running that race or i will be dissaponited and not want to go at all. My mom finally came home from down there. She had a great time. I'm glad she had a good time but i'm glad she is back .. Only one more month of being 24 years old and then i'm the big 25 ? i don't know if it's all that big as 21 is it? I know it bums me that he isn't running the full Sedcule grr oh well i could always get a 2nd driver but the only driver i like is robby.. I do take off weekends from racing sometimes it goes for if Robby's not racing in them. Daytona sounds fun i wish i could go :) i would love to see it in person . Damned cold here right now! It will probably be about 0 tonight. God I hate winter! Sadly we won't be able to make it down for the 500. My tattoo is healing well and is looking swesome! This is my third week of my diet and I've lost 9.8 pounds. I got the P90X and am planning to beat my ass into shape. My goal is a two piece swimsuit by summer. I haven't worn one in about 30 years.

Stepped on the scales this AM and I am down 10.2 pounds. I'm pretty stoked! Have been buying some clothes on "speculation. Speculation is a good incentive to shed the pounds and get in shape. It's been a long time but i'VE GOT TO DO THIS! The tat? It's a B17 done in black and grey on my right shoulder. Did it hurt? Oh yeah, but it looks amazing! Doug Mendozza is an amazing artist!

ok - we bit the bullet and just bought our tickets!! So that is a good incentive to drive down. Assuming they still have room - we will camp at Speedweeks campground. Will leave either late Thursday or early Friday to drive down (we are about 6 hours north) and purchase truck tickets when we get there. Pray for no rain! We have only been to Daytona once - July - and we thought we were going to roast to death -HOT!! I am good with the cooler weather (we survived snow at Atlanta Motor Speedway) but rain and the tent do not mix so well. We have Fan Zone tickets too - so we better start exercising to get in shape!

Absolutely! We can get together Saturday too! We are going to have a great time and meet a lot of fun Robby Fans! We will have to make a lot of noice for him!

I guess it really matters what time everyone will be rolling in. If they get there early enough, we can meet before Cup practice at 1:40. NNS Qs start at 3:10. If they will be later, anytime before CWTS Driver Intros at 7:30. Have you heard if the hauler is going to be there? If so, we can make that a rendezvous spot, other than that, you know better the lay of the land. I'll be there all day and willing to do anything.

We never made it to the 'other' side of the track when we were there July 2008. We are driving down on Friday - a timely arrival dependent upon getting our bums out of bed early! We are staying at Speedweeks campground which is in the middle of a cow pasture (really!) a little bit past the airport. It is a bit of a hike. We are also next to the dog track which was a life saver in Jily because of the nice A/C. We are also across the street from the backstretch parking lot. Our Cup and Nationwide tickets are in turn 1. Are you going to the truck race? I think it is general admission - so perhaps we can target a certain area to convene?

Phoooeeeyyy!! Age is just a state of mind. WHEN you meet up with us, you will realize that is so true as we act like a bunch of kids at the race track. There is a good core group of people here, and I have enjoyed meeting many of them. Looking forward to meeting others this year.
I am hoping Robby will have a good year in whatever venue he drives. He just doesn't get the credit he deserves.

At the moment my goal is 40 pounds or a size 8 - whichever comes first. I am currently down 11 pounds so I figure I'm a quarter of the way there.

We are supposed to get more snow tomorrow, so I hope the weatherman is wrong or it is plowed before we leave. We should be on the road around 4pm tomorrow. No, I did not make it to any of the Superbowl events. I am a Dolphins and a Saints fan however I hold a grudge against the NFL.With the billions they have they use volunteers to do things that are directly in my line of work. However this is not the forum for me to complain.
I wish I could go to Daytona but I have to work. Daytona is the place where I first saw Robby testing the IROC cars years ago. In July however I am going to try to make the Nationwide race with my son.
Hope you have a great time up there and maybe you could meet Robby at one of his appearances? If I ever make it to the Keys again I will look you up. I really enjoy it there.

Hi Vak, I did not see your comment on my page till just now. Thank you! I have noticed we are on the same page on many things. My entire career has been a challenge, so I very much admire other's abilities to persevere against the odds, and choose their own path. I have not been to FL since I was a teenager. (Sanibel Island many times) As far as bigger tracks, I have only been to Watkins Glen. I love that place! I am hoping that in the next couple years I can start traveling and hitting more tracks with my young daughter. I know that you and Jaci will send back everything you can, and we will all enjoy and appreciate it! Again, have a fantastic time!!

P.S. I am burning plenty of propane staying warm -haha!

NNNooooo It can't rain!! Bad enough it is so cold. Talked to Jaci and she told me how cold it felt today. Daytona should be warm and sunny! Sending good thoughts for a great Friday.

Well, today was a washout. I'm bummed! Tomorrow is going to be a long day, but we will have to hook up again and find Karen too! I hope she has dried out, I haven't checked to see if it is still raining.
