Ho Sweetie!! Been catching up at work on end/beginning of year stuff. I have also been catching up with stuff around the house too. No PA trip last weekend,but should be there this one. Susan's treatments were delayed again due to burning, but should resume next Monday. That should be the last of them!! We are already talking plans for racing activities. Want to get to Vegas this year as we so badly want to meet Terie and Christina in person. Don't know if I can get her back to Mouse's as she is allergic to Beau, but I can try. Working on plans to maybe head down Gibby's way for a race. All depends on her health for her. I just need to go, go, go!!
We too are to have a warming trend this weekend thru the early part of next week. 50 degrees here!! Woohoooo bring on the sunshine!!

WOW on this Indy thing. This is the 2nd invite I have had in the last 12 hours. Are you going?? Have to say, it interests me! The Vegas trip may be in Sept. No dates in stone. Actually this is the first year since the late 80's where I didn't have plans set for races. I still think it would be fun to get the gang together to do a weekend not involving a Nascar race. It could have a racing theme or activity, but not a big race w/ traffic, tickets, schedule, $$ etc on that level. It could also be the Vegas trip this year. I think you get the picture. We could always use a stand-up for a stand in if we need to have Robby there! LOL!! Not like we have not done that before. Loved the looks we got as people thought we were crazy.

Sleep?? Don't know the meaning of it. Now you might also understand why coffee products/Monster drinks and I should not cross paths. Love the stuff, but being a hyper person anyway...
Just home for lunch from work now. It would be really fun to do Indy as I have never been. Are you close enough this could be a day trip? I have this dang banquet I am supposed to attend every year on that Sat. night since 1999. I missed last year as I was in FL helping Joyce and Susan pack up their mom's house, and the group got along just fine without me. thinking... thinking...thinking...
Gibby wants me to visit Nashville in April, Mouse in June, Christina and Terie in Sept. WOW for someone without any plans!! Let's put this idea on hold until you get back from Daytona. By then I will have a better idea about Nashville. I am sure I am going to NH and I have to go to Vegas. I promised the girls this year would be the year. Have a great Wed!!

8 hours of sleep!?!?! I could not imagine. I am sure it will catch up to me one day, but for now I will make the most of it. I hope we revisit the Indy idea. I looked at my vacation time today, and I would have some available even if I do the other stuff. Right now I have to burn a week before mid-Feb. as that is my anniversary date. It is use it or loose it.
I would normally say it was 3 more days until the weekend for me, but tomorrow doesn't count as a work day. Gotta go to CATD (Central Atlantic Toyota) for mandatory training. I usually enjoy those days as I see so many of my friends there. Also, I have to leave here by 6:45am to get there by 8:30. That extra morning time counts towards my 40 hrs, so leaving early on Sat. is a definite!
Going to PA to see Susan, and hopefully have dinner w/ Kathy from here too. Gotta get Kathy to one of our group events. You guys will love her! She has already met some of the west coast bunch from here. One day we will too kiddo, one day!

just stopped by to say Hi...doing some work around the house so I can stop to follow RG at laughlin at 4pm, Got a day off tommorow but going into the office at some point to set up my new office (they moved me over the weekend) so that way Tues I can be ready to work! HO SWEETIE!! Crazy weather huh!?! We have had 50's for over a week but for Friday when it was freezing rain. Today it was in the mid 60's. I will take that any winter day.
Are you coming thru my way on your way to Daytona?? I mean it would make sense for you to come across 70E and then drop down 81 to visit. Only 15 minutes (if that) from where the two cross. I can get you to I-95 from here a little faster than going around DC too. 95S then runs straight to Daytona. We could do lunch or dinner unless you are traveling when I am PA. I could also take a certain Harvick souvy off your hands instead of waiting 'til NH. Let me know!

77 in Charleston! OOOooo thru Bluefield,WV!?! In the winter?? Are you sure?? Why not go across 64 from Charleston? Brings you out on 81 and then you could drive south a little bit to catch 77E at Wythville. MUCH nicer roads!! Look into it and let me know? And NO I am not going to Charleston. Go there for state championship games and not much more. That part of the state doesn't recognize those of us from my area even though we pay the bills for the state!

HILLS of WV?? Unless you are coming from CO, those babies are mountains!! LOL! They are not too bad in most areas, it is just some of the roads themselves are not the greatest. 64 is better maintained in my opinion. Look and see what you think about the route.

I got tickets for Bristol, but I sold them to friends at work and a relative of Jamie's (here on the Planet). Sure you don't want to do Indy in May? Reading stuff here makes me think Robby will be there!

Just saw in the paper where Jeff Gordon and his step dad are looking at buying Cooper Stadium and turning it into 1/2 mile short track and mechanics school. He has someithing similar in Charlotte...wow that will be interersting!

There are a lot of good spots to meet and seems like everyone rolls in a different day but we'll do our best. I wanted to leave a comment for those who said they would be down but can't figure it out! I click on their name in the discussion and just get a list of their other discussions. How do you get to their profile? The concert sounds cool too but we won't be getting in until later Wednesday and will likely just crash with a big day on Thursday. It's not too far from where we're staying. Best for you to leave me messages here. I'm not on FB too often but always have this loaded on at least 3 different computers!

Hello Love!!!!! They said the water temp was 34 degrees, which was warmer than the actual temp of 28 degrees, plus there was a pretty good breeze blowing as well! The only thing that really bothered me was my feet, and I did dive right in!!! Mouse was soaked, however, I would do it again in a heartbeat! It was a blast! Hope all is well with you?? How much snow did you end up with?? Poor Sarah got buried!!!! Right now she has alot more snow than we have had all winter!!! We have spots of bare ground, but something is coming in for Wed-Thurs!!!! Take care and stay warm! Love ya

Wow, what a fun year for you last season! I enjoyed the pics you put on here, and knew you'd been out and about a bit. You are really hitting some big ones this year. Yes, there is nothing like a live race. Kind of like live music for me, too. Doesn't really matter if it's a big show, or a small local place, or even what genre. Live music and live racing both have great energy.

I have been to a few different smaller tracks in NYS, and Watkins Glen is the only bigger track I have been to. I have been to the cup raceweekend many times, and this year I also did the 6 Hours of the Glen weekend. That weekend had the Camping World East series, these other funny little cars, and the Rolex Sports Cars Series, which also run the Friday night of cup weekend. I have not done the Indycar weekend there yet.

Again, I hope you have a great time, and I look forward to seeing your pics and hearing about your awesome experience!

Road racing rules. Well, after OFF road racing.....haha! The Glen is a unique, fun place to watch a race and it is located in one of the most beautiful areas of New York State. You can roam and watch the 'twisted' racing action from all over the track. It's a four day race ticket, unless you only want to see the cup race.

You'll get the arm bands today I'm sure. Let me know if you have any other questions before Thursday. Almost here!

ALL RIGHT!!!! Great news. Yes, for the Duels the Cracker Barrell is the best place to park. It will probably cost $50-$60 but worth it for the convenience. It's on International Speedway Blvd. just before the track on the same side. When you get off 95 it will be on the right hand side probably a mile or so I'm guessing. Start watching for it after you pass Home Depot. I can't remember what else is in between but that will give you an idea. There's free track parking in other places but the place is so huge that it's hard to get to where you want to be. We've made the mistake of taking a shuttle that never showed up to pick us up afterward and had to walk over 3 miles. Give me a call if you think of anything else. See you in TWO MORE DAYS!!!

Hey,hey. What's up? It's been a while. So when are you leaving for your trip (or have you already)? I know you are excited. I see from your photo that you have gotten a lot of snow. We've gotten quite a bit too. We've missed a lot of school. As long as we don't have to go all summer, I'm up for a good snow day. Hope you have a great time in Daytona.
