Just wanted to say hi, see how you were doing. Things going good here, feeling tons better. Probably get the tree up tomorrow, might get me in the Xmas spirit. Hey Path i haven't heard from you in a while i just wanted to see how you are doing? i'm doing good busy with work looking foward to having 2 weeks off. I'm also looking foward to Dakar i don't have vereves channel to watch Dakar Highlights bummer i have Driect Tv!

I woke up to an 'icing event' today. Didn't thaw out here until almost noon so no church for me. Supposed to get into the 50's here by Wed. I noticed on the extended forecast the weather is calling for 3 days of snow right before Christmas. WHAT!?!?! I hope it is wrong. I am sure Christmas will go on just as well without the white fluffy stuff!
BTW, I spent the afternoon at the local theatre watching Irving Berlin's "White Christmas". Now that is the kind of snow I can deal with! Keep warm!

Hey Path, Sorry for the late reply. I forget to check my page. The Milestone Award is an award that Toyota presents to each team that finishes every mile of the Score season. So you have to finish every race and within the time limit. Hard to believe but it is true, Out of the hundreds of teams only a few actually get this award. I believe 20 teams finished every mile this year.

New laptop I hear! That means we can finally have both you and Mouse in chat at the same time. YEAH!!! Let me know when it is up and running and we will call a chat session. Haven't been on there much since everyone is busy with the holiday. Remember to keep warm!

If I can help, please call. As you know the storm came from the south so we got hammered. We got over a foot of snow and up to 2 feet in some areas. In our little area, we didn't get anything for the first several hours, but then the storm shifted. Went to work, but those in charge shut us down when the wind kicked in and the drifts began. School etc. is already called off for Monday. Guess I will be forced to stay in and get some household chores completed. Oh and there will be shoveling a little later today. Whooppeeee!! NOT!

HO Sweetie!! Got home to the Burg a little bit ago. Susan is doing ok for now. Last week of chemo was put off as she had to miss 2 weeks of radiation due to being burned so badly. We did the best we could anyway to have a great holiday week. She gets tired and needs naps, but otherwise she is handling it ok. You remember her and how she has a devil may care attitude about the bad things. We even talked a bit about maybe trying some trips later in the year so she can see you guys again. I'll tell her you asked about her. She really liked you both you know and she loves the love she has received from the cards, comments, emails, etc. from the people here. Goes to show how great some of the "Planeteers' are!

You need to tell him I said this: black shoes go w/ every outfit; blue goes w/ blue outfits; brown or tan shoes for brown/khaki; grey goes w/ smoky grey, steel grey, grey blouses; sandals w/ shorts; flip flops are a summer staple; then you need comfy ones for jeans or khakis. Just got home from church. Think I am going to do some house cleaning before heading out to meet some friends for lunch and a movie. We have decided to go and see the "Tooth Fairy". Imagine!! 4 grown adults at this weeks kid's movie. Two weeks ago we went to see 'It's Complicated'. VERY good movie. Supposed to be in the high 50's for the next couple of days. Feels good!

Guess I shouldn't tell you it is a few minutes after 9 and it is almost 60 degrees here. Would it make you feel better if I said it was raining?

Snow? I heard of that! Actually saw some visiting my daughter's family in Indiana earlier this month. Pretty cold here too, it was 61 when we woke up. Hope it warms up in time for Daytona's Speed Weeks! We'll be there for the Duels through the Nationwide. We're home in front of the TV in time for the 500s green flag. Any chance you guys can make it down?

Actually it is my payment for the 'bitch' Mouse is sending me! He said I could pay in sunshine. LOL!!
It was black skies and snowing just to the north of us this morning, but so far we have been good. They say snow maybe Friday night, but who knows. Just think, we are almost thru January!!

It was a grand ol high of about 20 degrees here today. We got just over an inch of snow here. Guess we weren't far enough south to get the deep stuff. How weird was that to think I was not 'far enough south' to get a lot of snow. Oh well, I will take it as it happened.

Your temperatures huh? Well you most certainly may have them back!! I just checked outside and we had 2 inches of snow. The roads are pretty much clear, and the temperatures are to be warm enough to melt it later today. It was a pretty snow while it was coming down. Reminded me of a snowglobe. Hoping we don't get any for the weekend as I am going to Susan's. We have superbowl party plans as well as others.
Speaking of which, treatments are over, and she sounded wonderful tonight. Looking forward to things again so she has a great attitude. I'll share more in chat.

Awesome! I've been thinking about you and sending prayers for your success. I'm still putting mine off. I'll start my walking regiment Thursday when we get to Daytona! Have you been there? It's gargantuan... miles of walking to simply get across the street the way it's laid out and traffic flow. Hope to have some nice pics to post from there. Keep me posted on your progress, you are definitely motivitating me to lose a bit of my own butt!

On my home front, it has taken me 3 days of shoveling here and there to finally be able to get one of the cars on the road. Seems like the celebration will be short lived as we are expecting another foot tomorrow. Oh my can't you just feel my excitement?!?!
