hey "Jackie", thanks for the updates.
I'd be curious to know more about how RGM goes from taking a final rendering and converting it into the paint scheme we see on the car at the track.

I know, the Jackie thing is kinda weak, but TOG seemed to like it in my pre race report...

so the rendering gets sent to the wrap vender and then RGM applies in the shop, or do they tape and paint in-house? If so, how do you ensure the taping matches the rendering?

Do you have a template someone can use to paint/design a car...I want to start getting my son involved more with his model cars and i think if we did templates that may help

we are building pine wood derby cars modifying a cot templete, and also old mopars. Any thiing would be of help.

what we are wanting to use is a templete comparable to what they used to make the 70 cuda muscle machine cars....

the pittsburgh paints hood logo, quaker state hood logo, energizer hood logo, and MAPEi hood logo

ok man thanks alot man! last time i checked masgrafx didnt have any of them. they had a mapei but it wasn't the same one. i am gonna go ahead and check them again. i've also google searched alot. found the quaker state but cant get the magic wand tool to get it right. same with the energizer bunny

heyy Garrett, how you been dude? having any good summer weather up there? it mostly been all rain up here in MA.

ah, its ok man, yea same here rained alot and hot and humid days aswell, and school starts september 2nd for me, i have been just enjoying my summer hanging out with my cousin and family and swimming and stuff working alittle with my dad.

Not bad here either. Just working! Going to go to the fall NH race and meet up with the gang again. This time we have added some more Planet people. LOVE IT!
I have been going to a short track that is close to my friend Susan's house in PA. We have a ball there. Kasey K.and Kyle B. were there one night too. Good time had by all. Kathy from here joined us there.
Got to meet Racinwench a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoy getting together with my fellow Planeteers!

I understand about the time thing. I have a huge project every year at this time. I try to stop in now and then to catch up on the happenings. Don't worry about being the normal fan. I think doors will continue to open up for you. Think of it as time to refresh your ideas.
Like I said things here are busy, but manageable. Found out a very dear friend of mine has a tumor. Biopsy was done and results will be in soon. She still has to have it removed either way. We are facing it with humor. We even named it. Others think we are weird, but to her it is what it is. We can worry when the doctor gives her the tests results.
Take care of yourself, and post now and then. Hope things get better for you and your friends.
