I see you have a couple pics of the haulers...Do you have anything to do with them?
  • Jake Blaze

What does Gregg Till do for a living?
  • Sonya

That pic was at a bar in Joliet where Chicagoland Speedway is. Kurt Busch was serving Millers the nite before.

I'm not the only one down here??? Good to know! I see you're in Miami. Whereabouts? I'm in the Keys. Were you the one that posted those neat pics of the hauler on the FL tpk leaving Homestead?
  • vak7

Great pics.. going to the race in November?
  • vak7

Oh no... that's a bummer. I'm thinking we may not have the season finale here much longer. Bruton Smith is doing everything he can to move it all to Vegas. Betting the Indy and Grand Am season finales are a form of consolation prize.

Where?? Behind the airport? We live off of Aviation. It's a mess right now, they've been installing sewers since February. The roads will be all new once they're done. Give a shout if you make it back down.

Hi Billy. Thank you for asking me to be your friend. Yes, I like to chat with Sherri, too. Sometimes we even talk about racing -HaHa!

I like the pics you have on your page here. It looks like you are into a bunch of different things. So do you live in both PA and FL, or are you a transplant from one to the other?

Thank you ! If you don't mind , could you answer my California question again ? I didn't get to see your comment yesterday . I really would like to know why Cali is your favorite state you've visited .

I see you and the Goddess are friends now , you'll like her. She and I do chat about a lot of things , and yes , sometimes racing . LOL TTYL ! Sherri

Hi Billy. Your situation sounds tough. I'm sure it's very hard to be away from your son. Do you ever get to see him? I have a young daughter.

I have lived most of my life in NY. I spent 3 years up in Maine, and moved back about two years ago. Right now I live in the Finger Lakes region, which is a different area than I lived in before I left for ME. It's really beautiful in this area of NY, and I am only about 25 min. from the Glen.

So what do you do for a living? Job security is huge right now. Hopefully Robby can get some of that for next year. Are you a nascar fan, off road fan, race fan or just Robby fan? Going to Homestead? Have a good night. Lynda

I have to admit that California does seem to have it all . I've read about how expensive it is to live there , and of course the earthquakes are a factor too . How many hurricanes have you had to prepare for ? Of course your favorite place in the world is where your son is , if you would have said something different , I would have been disappointed in you . There are too many men out there who aren't a part of their kids lives , and that's why I applaud you for the effort you put forth to spend time with your son .

    Hello Billy ,
I have to say that I admire the tenacity and fortitude of those who deal with hurricanes , especially those who lose everything and they rebuild their lives and homes . I was told before that when you deal with these storms you just automatically start dealing with it , first getting through it , and then dealing with the aftermath . I remember seeing the pictures and videos of Andrew , plus seeing what Katrina did to the gulf coast . I can't imagine what it was like to clean up afterwards . I also imagine you would need to be made of stone to not be affected by what you would see while doing the clean up .
Do you have any plans for Thanksgiving ? I'll be staying home , so if I should eat too much , I can go lie down in my own bed . =)

Yes , one more race , which will be boring , but Baja comes first , which will keep us all interested till the end .
Everything is good here , no one has the flu , the weather is nice , so no complaints . Hope all is well with you TTYL ! Sherri

    Hey Billy ,
Even though you have to work , at least you do get Thanksgiving day off . Every bit of money helps these days , plus it makes it a little easier to get your son some nice stuff for Xmas . I do hope you get to spend a week with your little one .

As for Baja , I'll follow it from time to time , I don't have the patience to sit and follow all day long . Plus , I have other things that need to be done . So , I'll check in from time to time .

I hope you won't be working too hard , and I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving also . Sherri

Hi Billy. That's pretty cool that you can see your son so much considering the distance. I hope you two have a great time at Thanksgiving.

It's funny, I actually entertained the idea that you drove for a lighting gig, and of course welding can fit in with a lot of things. I have limited welding experience, but I enjoyed it when I got the chance. I'd like to get more experience, as it is a great skill to have in the metal trades.

Have you been to any other tracks besides Daytona? I would like to get out to more tracks in the future. I am very partial to the Glen, and to road courses in general. I actually came back to NY for a raceweekend when I lived in Maine, but never made it to Loudon. This year I made it to the Six Hours of the Glen raceweekend, too. I think they should be racing every road course possible in Nascar. That would breathe a little life into that series. I have become a serious off road fan due to Robby, and the fact I have always loved driving my pickups on dirt roads -HaHa.

I hope things are going well for you. TTYL. Lynda
