Look for us to wave from tv!! LOL!! I will have the black RCR hat on in the sea of red beam hats. I will be wearing a Robby shirt, but I have to also have something for RCR too!! Yes, it drives Path crazy!! If I can swing it as I have for the last several years, I am going to try to get to see him. I will take Path with me so she can see what a great guy he is. Of course there will be the mandatory visit/hug with Bobby Allison too. After all, I am his favorite stalker!! ;)

It was quite a race! I can't say I'm happy with the finish (Robby got wrecked) but it was certainly not boring! I got some good pictures, which I will get downloaded off the camera tonight and hope to have posted later. No, I didn't ride in the car -- I may a little too claustrophobic to ride in a race car!

Hey Babe!!!!! Path and I just got back at 5pm this afternoon! Long ride, but, OMG, what a race! Great weather with great friends!!!! It doesn't get any better than that!!!! And to get a ride in the car as well! WOW!!!!!! We were flying down this very curvy road! What a blast, and then we even passed a car, in a spot that one should NOT be doing so!!!!!! Now, now, it's not like he was handing out hugs! I asked for the priviledge. It's funny, but it never even crossed my mind that he would refuse. Every time I see this man I continue to be honored at the way he treats those of us who support him. The ride in the car was a sweet deal and yes, the hug was very nice too!

Hey Lisa!! We had a great time. I think Mouse and Path have a new favorite track now. We got to spend a lot of time with Robby too. There weren't a lot of people there for him so he gave us a lot of attention. I didn't get to ride in the car. I got a great banner with xoxoxox's from Robby instead. Had to win an argument to get it which is why he put the hugs/kisses on it. He knew I was a serious fan. Can you imagine, I was arguing (politely) with Robby?? Path and Gibby just about died. He and I are ok. He even messed with me later with another souvenir. He has a great sense of humor. How many Dale Jr. or Jiffy Poo fans can say they got the treatment we (the gang) gets every time we see him!?!?!?

The thing with avatars is I really like to be anonymous, but I guess that went out the window now! As for the "hug heard 'round the world," I think I really shocked him but he rolled with it and was very gracious! If I request another when I see him in New Hampshire, he just might keel over! Poor thing!

Race cars on a track!! That is a great sound. It can only be topped by the smell of the rubber and the fuel mixture. Wish I could bottle it! As for the trip, we are going to do it all again this fall in NH. Going to invite people to meet up with us again. We just have too much fun, but then again is there such a thing as too much??

Highs are to be in the 70's, but may get into the 90's this weekend. Areas around me are getting heavy rainfall with hail now so I am not complaining. Have a great week!!

Hey thanks for the Pudge links! I finally am checking in here so I'll read the articles when I'm finished here. He was a bright spot in Detroit as well, still don't know why they traded him! We're going to a Tigers game next month, I got hooked last year when my son and I went to one. We're about 5 or 6 hrs from Comerica, so going there is an all day event. There was a nice write up about Pudge in the USA Today paper this week, about him breaking the catching record. Hope all is well in Texas. Let's hope for a great finish for Robby and PJ tomorrow! Hey, lady, how are ya? I'm doing well. Been pretty busy but I think I have finally gotten my quota of nurses hired so all should be well for awhile. Summer has hit us full force here as well. Since about Tuesday we have had heat advisories every day with hi's in the 90's, getting closer and closer to 100, and of course HUMID. According to the weather widget onYahoo it's still 80 degrees at midnight (and feels like it.) My sister is going out of town tomorrow but she left me a key to her house to watch Robby win Sonoma on her new 50" HD plasma TV with theater sound. Crack open the Mean Bean and enjoy the race!!!

All is going well....I think I have my son convinced it's time to move to a warmer climate so I will probably start shopping for a new address in the upcoming months. Hmmmm, I hear Galveston County has opted OUT of Social Security for a private fund. That sounds verrrry interesting.
