just stoping to si hi im with Roger Norman he is here in Ensenada today we made a pre run but no for the 500 for other race the sunday, maybe will be pre running the baja 500 course just from ojos to i think Valley Trinidad or something like that i will talk with Roger, today is gonna be the race is a 150miles race Roger is racing in a 7s well later buddy i will take some pictures from him take care

ohh really, well be pacient soon something is gonna happen and you will be available for the race
i told you that because some days ago i have no hope at all to be at the 500 with some team and then Roger came out the saturday at the night and told me because i take pictures all day to him hey Rene i have a idea why dont give me you e-mail and send me the pictures and a give your name and number and all that stuff and i say why y he say because you gonna be with my team taking pictures for the 500 im gonna put you in a chase car and i say really thank you very much thats why today im so happy haha

Hi Walt!!!, Jorge here, seems that Alex won't be able to come to the race, a mutual friend invited me to help another Trophy Truck, a friend of his (Dave Sykes) will drive TT number 7 of Scott Steinberger (PCI Radios, son of SCORE's Weatherman) but the plan is to be around mile 150, that is near Saldaña at Highway mile 90, way too far from San Felipe. I asked Alex if he talked to Neil or Andy to see if we could be with them but he did not, I hope things will change before the race so he can come and help RG.

Hi Walt - thanks for the info. I am getting so disgusted with NASCAR the new penalties for Carl Long and Robby were just way to harsh for the minute fractions they had. I think they are trying to run the one car teams out of their organization. Stiff penalties and fines will do it. Joan

I agree we will have to wait & see. But cCarl Long's penalty was over the top for such a small infraction. NASCAR has to give some of the little guys some slack. The small teams do ot have the engineers, etc. that Hendricks & Gibbs have. I am glad Robby is appealing. Joan

Hey Walt! Thanks for stopping by to say Hello!!!! You are the first one to miss the "devil mask"!!!!!! I enjoyed that whole page for awile, but changed it ti fit the Mouseking7 page! In honor of the hockey season and now the baseball season, I have changed it! It will make a return visit someday!!

I'm going to the Eldora race on Wednesday. Looking forward to that and Baja.

I wish I could have been in Baja for such an epic Robby race, Im looking forward to all of the comments and photos/videos of Robby driving what had to be one of the most spectacular Baja races in a long time. I followed it on the web and had 8 windows open and was back and forth all day, however I did not have my Planet Robby open so I missed all that was said here, but I will go back through the different sections and see what was happening here. Enjoy a Great weekend down in San Felipe and have a cold one for me!

i was in Rogers pre runner around ojos negros,km 77, Alamo,some place before summit, valle la trinindad, and the finish line

I was with Baja Dave and Baja Mark, and some friends from Indiana. They came over for breakfast, we headed out together for Checkpoint #2. I climb a hill, fell down a few times on the way up. I got to the top and got the shots. We were having lunch and a dust devil blew the Easy Up away. Dave has had it for 30 years. We had a great time back to San Felipe to celebrate with a fire, drinks and dinner at my house. When are you coming down again? Did you have a good time? Seven did not do very well right?

really thats awesome we celebrate too the 3rd place in Papas and Beer i think i saw Trod because in the KM 77 we saw Robby pit crew with all the team getting ready for the pit stop and i only put my hand out of the window to say hi

I am planning to go down for the 1000, and will be looking forward to meeting you and Baja Dave. I have been to San Felipe many times in the past, however its been far to long. I am going to plan my time off from work when I go back tomorow, so that wont be an issue. Your photos are great and even though I was not there, I could really sense how awsome the racing was, and how close the top three Trophy Trucks were running for the entire race. It sounds like you are really enjoying your time in San Felipe, so have a cold one for me and thanks for your message.

Sounds like a great time walt did you get hirt when you fell.realy souds like a great adventure. well let me tell you we also had a great time Rob had to leave pretty quick after but we had a hell of a good time when we left the finish line it was rob bob and me racing through the back streets back to the hotel we all talked for a while he showered jumped into a chase truck and headed to the jet gone by about 7:30 --8:00 pm

Nice to hear from you again, actually I knew I was going to, to make things short we could not make it ANYWHERE, we left Mexicali at 6:30 AM, but my friend's Ford Bronco just died at Highway kilometer 13 just outside town, we tried everything to get it started but nothing worked, we changed the ignition coil, then a distributor module but then we found out the gear that makes the rotor turn was warped so we went to buy another one and install it back again, no good..., we had to get it towed back.
At this time I still don't know what happened to TT 7 but then who cares? Robby did well, by the way, are you ok? hope you didn't get hurt but for what I read you celebrated back in San Felipe.
We (my wife's family and us) are plannig to go to San Felipe maybe in October to celebrate my sister's in law and our own 10th wedding anniversary, we've done this for a couple of years because the weather is nice, not too hot and not too many people either maybe we can meet then.

Walt, I've got a technical question for ya. How many times must one attend a Baja event before they can add "Baja" to thier name? I mean, I'd really like to be "Baja" Mike, but I'm tryin to figure out just how much this moniker will cost me. Besides there very likely may already be a "Baja" Mike, I mean theres Baja Bob, Bill, Mark, Dave... & why aren't you Baja Walt? Have you not met the minimum yet? Ugh, maybe I should just stick with "WildCard" (WC), or maybe Joliet Mike....a lil help here Walt? : )

Am I commited to Baja races? Truthfully Walt, I should prolly BE commited. I'd actually love to attend a baja race. I'm thinkin about goin to LDC next year. I know it's not Baja, but I don't need a passport either. Plus theres some great hotel pkgs for that wknd. I think it's a good place to get my feet wet...or sandy.
I'm just a racing junkie Walt, & I love what I see of the o-r stuff. Thanks for some of the great pics, that bring me closer to it

We had a perfect day. Everything, except SCORE's little mistake at the end , really was good. Don't worry or get caught up with the latest BS. We won the race and the FINAL results are yet to be. All I can say is: just be patient. more later.

I apologize for my ignorance but when do you guys (americans) celebrate Columbus day? Here in Mexico is the 12th of October but I know that some holidays are changed to mondays to lenghten the weekend in the US, maybe we can be in San Felipe at the same time, thanks Walt.

Hey Walt, I haven't bugged you in a while so I thought I'd wander by and say HI! What the heck happened with the Baja 500 that Robby got penalized to heavily?
