Hello, honey -- things are fine here. Just running the youngest around to wrestling camps & weightlifting all summer since he's not that interested in getting his permit. Grant it, I'm not complaining one bit. Saves on our insurance, gas bill & saves me a few gray hairs. Getting ready for school to start in about 2 weeks. Poor guy didn't have much of a summer break. All-in-all, kind of laid back this summer -- too hot to do anything. Are y'all going to the race this weekend? Whatever you do, have a wonderful & safe trip.

Bullshit!! If I have tickets, money to go and the other things fall into place, I will go by myself. Done it before and will do it again! Not that I don't like having the company at a race, although sometimes it seems the company could be the best part with the way NASCAR has toned it down and neutered the drivers nowadays. Ok, going for the company in Sept.!!

Bummer! I guess we'll have to stock up beforehand if the trailer is not going to NH (and TOG says it's not). So today was a rainout.....so I won't get to watch the race tomorrow or hear the scanner. (Well, technically, I could play the scanner at work but since I work with headphones on, I don't think I could get away with it.)

I snuck a listen on the scanner here and there at work and I gather it didn't go well for Robby. Just watched the replay on ESPN and I can see why Robby was so pissed! Stremme IS an a**!!!

Well, when I got off work I drove to the post office and realized I left the mail on my desk....had to go back and get it. Then I had to go shopping for groceries...BLAH! Then of course every dish in the kitchen was dirty so I had to wash them and take out the trash. Just now finished that and still have a load of clothes to dry. I am TIRED! Other than that, I'm fine. hee hee

Stremme was a no show. Think he knew Kathy and I were out to get him. We both dressed in Robby gear and Kathy even had a Robby blanket. The evening was good otherwise.

Hi Honey - things okay here. Boys are back in school & we're gearing up for another season of BAMA football starting this Saturday. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Glad you're getting to go visit Path & go to the race. It'll be good for you to get away for a little while. How is Lil Leo?

Yeah, I was pretty excited to hear it, too. Poor guy hasn't been able to catch a break in YEARS. He & Robby remind me so much of each other -- good drivers but can't find the $$$ to have the major backing as the big teams. Fingers crossed for good finishes for both this weekend -- & not like Spring '05 when they both crapped out early on.....

Woohoo -- BAMA beat Virginia Tech 34-24. They looked a little sloppy 1st half but managed to rally around end of 3rd quarter & 4th quarter. It's gonna be a long season. Gonna have lots of heart palpitations & no fingernails come December. ROLL TIDE!!!! Now if only we can get Robby to get a decent finish tomorrow............
