I have probably passed you by a number of times in Dillsburg. I have family in Harrisburg and nephews play soccer and baseball in Gettysburg a lot. I'm probably 3 hours from you at the most.
Glad you're getting to Richmond. I hope to get to some different tracks next year. This year is not a good one for me -- too much else going on to spend the money and/or take the time to travel to other tracks. You'll have to report back and let me know how Richmond is.

To answer your question, yes I wore my RuR shirt to Pocono. When I got to the front of the line to meet RG, I asked Marchetta about the Uprising and she said, "You have to ask him." So I asked RG if the Uprising was ever coming back. He said no because he didn't have a sponsor for it. Then he kinda looked at me -- and my shirt -- and said, "Uh, sorry." He was very nice, spoke for a minute or so more. then it was on to the next. He seemed kind of "subdued" on that day though.
You are going to Richmond? Hope the weather will clear up so that they can get the race in. I hope to be home in time (from a party) to see part of the race. Have a great time and let me know if you get to talk to RG.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you - I was on vacation. I'm also sorry that you were disappointed in meeting RG. Doesn't sound like anything I've ever heard about him -- he's usuauly more friendly. Maybe the pressure is getting to him! As for finding the mall two nights in a row (waiting for the rain to end), sounds like a good night to me!!! (I am a serial shopper!)

I missed the race last weekend - I was laying on the beach. Sounds like at least RG had a better day -- 22nd. I hear the other Gordon is whining about RG pitting by him - what a cry baby! Glad I jumped off that band wagon a long time ago!

Thanks lady!! I was being serious about a meeting. Maybe we can get together with Christy too when she is visiting Woodstock? How about after the holidays when things won't be so rushed? I know, we can all come up there to the Farm show. Hee hee. Dave works that so we can meet up with him too. The more the merrier I say!

After the holidays it is! I'll touch base with Christy and see if she can join us. We can work out the details later. Think about "activities" between now and then. I am looking forward to a day with the girls!

Every American with internet access should do that. 2 minutes out of your day for someone who who shed their blood for you. If thats too much to ask, or ruffles somebodies feathers, you just let me know. I'll do what I can to get them deported, or incarcerated.They surely don't deserve our country's freedoms.

Ok lady, the holidays are over so we need to make good on our promise to get together. Christy is ok with any weekend but 2-7 and 3-7. I have a training on 2-28. I also work on Sat., but I can take a day off if needed. I also suggested we meet at a sports bar to watch the race together if it is on a Sunday. Give us your thoughts and let's make this meeting happen. I am really looking forward to it!!

Thinking maybe the 21st then if there is NO bad weather!!

Afternoon to you! Hadn't heard from you in awhile. Hope all is well up your way. I had a great time when I was there last weekend. Thinking we may have a trip scheduled for April, but no date yet.

Hey Kathy!! Thought of you this weekend. We drove over to Williams Grove, and I saw a sign for your hometown. Do you ever go there for the races?? We had a great time. Not as fun as Dega the week before, but still fun. We are supposed to come up again to go to Doc's for a friends birthday. Maybe you and some of your friends can meet us there?? Hope all is well with you!

I guess you heard the fireworks Sat. too!! Susan and I had a ball!!! One of my coworker's son races there on the weekends so we had someone to cheer for Sat.
As of this writing, we are going to Doc's on 5-16-09. We are celebrating Susan's birthday. There will be a small group of us, but if you and yours want to join us, we would love to see you. Susan's daughter will be making our reservations, so let me know details or vice versa so we can sit near one another. I know they will want to sit up front for the show. If nothing else, maybe you could join us for dinner??? Sit near us for dinner??? Sit in the same room?? LOL!!

Let me check with the birthday girl on the breakfast or lunch thing. I know we leave for church around 9:30, but if there is too much celebrating... Truthfully, I think she would enjoy the get together. Now getting her sister up and out of bed; well that could be a different story! Did you have any ideas? She usually does the "dog" for lunch on Sundays.

Ok, just got off the phone with Susan. The plan is to be at the Dog at 12 to 12:30. The dog is a wings place that is actually called the Underdog. We can verify phone numbers etc to get in touch in the pm's. I am pretty sure I still have yours. I will have Susan call you to give you directions.

Hey lady! This Sat. is "Totally Topless Night" at the Grove. My friend is racing so Susan and I are thinking about going. She is having her thumb operated on tomorrow, but it should be a simple one. Are you interested?? I can call you when I get up there and let you know what are plans are.

I tried being married to that kind once. Racing was just one of the reasons it didn't last. He just NEVER got it. Took him to Richmond one time, and he decided to cheer for DW?!?!? Did I mention we weren't married long either?? Never tried it again as I learned the first time.
I will call when I know something. Susan's surgery went well and so far she is up for the racing. However, when the drugs wear off, she may have a different idea. By the way, she treated herself to wings from the Dog in honor of making it thru ok. I know, you can't imagine it can you? LOL!!
