Happy St. Pat's day to you - had a terrible day yesterday at work lost some medical records - finally found them but was almost in TEARS. Having Ham & Cabbage for dinner- don't think we will go out, just have dinner at home. Good to hear from you. Joan

Oh yeah I know you should have heard this place yesterday! I'm on the phone to other law offices and they are in the conference room screaming at the top of their lungs and I am trying to act like nothing is going on to the person on the phone. It gets like that sometime. Joan

Cool!! I did like it. Liked the top row too. I should let you know if I want stuff with the Toyota logo, I can order thru work and get an employee discount. I actually don't buy much of anything anymore. I have a huge Bobby Allison and Dale Sr. collection along with a lot of misc. odd stuff from the 80's and 90's of various drivers. It is all collecting dust now or packed away. After Earnhardt died, it just wasn't any fun anymore. Still have sheet metal and car parts in the family room with antique furniture. It is an odd decorating scheme, but it works for me. I think the most modern piece is the miniature hood I won at the Robby appearance in NH last year. It has ford (YUCK!) on it, but since Robby signed it, I have to display it. Thanks so much for thinking of me! Hope you (and Robby) have a great weekend!

Last year I got all kinds of free Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart stuff. Gave a lot of it away. I have dibs on anything with Robby on it though. The guys here know how much I love him! I also have plenty of mugs, cups, pens, shirts, etc. with just the Toyota logo on it. I use the red recyclable grocery bags all the time!
I tried to give this huge mounted picture of Kyle to Path and Mouse last year as a thank-you for letting me stay there, but they just would not take it. Said something foul under their breath and called him a demented ferret. Geez, just can't please everyone! ;)

He did well unofficial 21st - but I will NEVER UNDERSTAND NASCAR POINTS. He was 29th coming into Bristol and finsihed 21st - I thought he'd gain, but he is down one in 30th. Bummer. Joan

Hi Kathie - If you check out my page, Mario gave me a run-down of the points at Bristol and why Robby dropped a point. He offered to give me a list for Martinsville, but I told him wait and see what Robby does - if he has a DNF, I will be devastated. Currently RG is 30th in points. Joan

I'll miss qulifying today, I hope he does better than last week. Just got the Scene - letters were all negative on the Bristol race. There was a Saturday Night Special race with legends of the sport, Cale Yarborough, Jr. Johson (77 yrs young), Dave Pearson, etc. That would have been nice to watch. Joan

BUMMER!! Just looked at NASCAR.com qualifying rained out - Jeffy is #1 so he's on the pole and Robby is 30th so he starts in that position. I was hoping he'd be able to qualify well, but that ship sailed with the rain. Joan

Finished 39th or 40th (didn't much care) Good thing only dropped 1 pt. to 31st. Of course if he keeps this up he will be tring to qualify in each race. Robby's gotta pick it up. Joan

I agree on the weather. In the 60's here. Watching the news from DC and thinking about the cherry blossoms. Do you ever go? I haven't went in many years. I mention it as it signifies Spring is here in our area. Hope you have a great week!!

Happy April 1 - I see Sarah left you an April Fool cartoon, she left one on my Hotpass page. The gang is getting together at Dega, Path, Sarah, Gibbs and Mouse, and they are trying to find out who else on our Planet will be at Dega, so they can whoop it up for Robby. Oh yeah - I know - I just paid $200 for fillilng, x-ray, & dental exam. With that I could have gotten half way to Dega. Have to go back when I get income tax check for debriding (whatever that is) and another $200. OUCH in so many ways. I had Delta Dental, but dropped it because the stuff I need is not covered. The ins. person got real snotty with me and said "Well you chose a Premiere dentist and we don't pay for that kind of care". WHAT!!! It was worse, I had over $1,000 bill and Delta covered $100 of it, cleaning & office visit - the rest came out of my savings acct. So I dropped them, what good is it if you pay $85.00 a quarter & they pick up 1/10th of the cost. Anyway Robby had better get on his game this weekend in Texas. Joan

I am not much of a prankster as I believe the "what goes around...". Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a good joke too. I am more of a "any reason to have fun" kind of a person. Hope you have a great weekend!

Llst night on way home, car broke down had to be towed to garage another $800. I am ready to rear my hair out!!! Robby is riding a RGM-built chssis this weekend, Path said she hoped it held together - I know Robby is hard on his equipment. Joan

Hi Kathie Happy Monday. Well the chassis held up but the Toyota engine failed. He went up in a big puff of white smoke. I felt so bad, he was 22nd and having a great run. Joan

Hi - Happy Easter and/or Passover whichever you observe. It's still cold here so Easter outfit is my winter coat!!! They have an Easter Parade in Phillly, but all the finery will be covered up in fur coats or snowsuits. LOL. Joan

Oh Kathie - I forgot!! My stove (elec.) in my apartment blew up yesterday. My daughter had the oven on and it made a loud noise and started smoking! Now the apt. people say I can't get a new one until next week. I do have an electric fry pan, a coffee maker and a toaster oven, but I can't boil eggs, etc. MY LIFE IS LIKE A SOAP OPERA!!! Joan

Hi well we will see what the weekend brings - Walt Pendelton has an extra ticket for Phoenix (his wife cn't go) Wish I lived closer, I'd jump on that because Walt is acquainted with Robby and I'd probably get to meet him. He offered the ticket on his page, if anyone has the way or means to get there. The SCENE has been rather skimpy past two weeks, nothing about much of anything except closing down the No. 8 team - Theresa is such a JERK! There was a spread on Brendan Gaughn swimming with sharks. Did you read about his adventure in Baja some years ago? I don't think Brenden has run it since then. I just got my birthday present from my friend in Maryland, can't wait to open it. MIkey needs more than kidnapping. He did apologize on SPEED last ight, but he ALWAYS does harm to Robby. I remember when he ran over Robby and RG got the worst for saying what an ASS he is. I think Robby called him a piece of SH---! HE IS! Even his wife thinks so. Joan

Di you see that hit Robby got yesterday? I bet he's sore today - hope he didn't get too badly banged up. He hit that wall at about 100 mph. That's enought to tera a retina or something. Robby's hit was actually worse than Carl's. Joan

No you didn't miss it - they did not interview Robby. I was surprised they didn't interview Ryan Newman - Carl's car hit him hard, and could have gone through his windshield, he must have been wetting his pants!!!. Joan

Hey have you visited Pathfinder7's page witht photos of them meeting Robby at the Montana Bar near Dega? Path got a hug from RG, and Sarah actually argued with him - They even got to ride in the 7 exhibition car and got a Beam banner (they weren't supposed to get). I would have just loved to be there with them. Joan

I love your photos love the small one of Robby throwing a baseball. AJ is such a blow hard, last year he said he should get the vote because he is hot and has a hottie wife - some criteria. He is SO full of AJ, it's a wonder his wife can stand him. Anyway I hope Robby gets into the all star, I'm still voting when I can between calls and duties here in the office. One of these days I'll get a computer with internet at home and vote my brains out. Joan

Hi Kathie - I know and I don't see how Joey Lagano could have that many fans voting for him. Casey I understood, but Joey? I am not sure this was on the up-and-up. Anyway I was glad Kyle did not get the $$ and Sorry that Matt got beat in the last laps, but the race was exciting and Jeffy spun out thanks to Kyle, In the qualifier Robby was in the top 10 - if he can do that in the 600 next week, I'll be HAPPY. Hi Kathie - the baseball photo is great - I think he used to be in little league, but not positive about that, perhaps something I read. I have a tape of Robby when he was a kid doing wheelies on his trike and his Mom said the school called and told her to tell Robby not to show off at school because kids were trying to do what Robby did, and were getting hurt. I sure hope things turn around this year, he's so close to being out of the top 35. Joan

I just checked th e lineup he's 37th starting position - I don't understand why he can't qualify better. Newman made pole and Shrub is 2nd. We will see how soon it takes those two to wreck each other (or should I say Kyle wreck Ryan). Joan

Well it was not pretty, but I thought a 3rd place would bring him up in the points. I just checked the standings he is still 34th. I'll have to check with Mario to find out why he was not up furhter than that. Joan

Thanks for the well wishes. I helped a friend pack up her mothers house in FL this weekend so mine was all work. Did try to get some sun and pool time in, but not a whole lot. How was your weekend! How is the knee doing?

I knew it was too good to be true - Robby had a 181 pt. lead over the last place, but NASCAR has fined him 100 pts as of post inspection and fined his crew chief - plus a $50,000 fine. They just can't have Robby getting ahead in NASCAR in front of all their favorites. This sucks. Joan

hee hee Drove thru Fredericksburg last Thurs and Tues. Never understood why the powers that be have never made improvements to the Rt. 17 connection to I-95. Maybe some sort of bypass situation like they did in Warrenton from 17 to 29 would work.
I will keep you in my thoughts on your knee. Got to be a bummer to have beautiful weather and not be able to "play" in it!
