I am not a big Jr. fan esp. since he is with Hendrick now. However, I don't think he will ever be judged fairly no matter what he does. I don't cheer against him, but when his dad died, I stayed with RCR. Guess it was the same with Bobby when he got hurt in 88. I didn't go to Davey, but instead went to Dale as Bobby always spoke of him with high regards.
Nascar needs to wise up and realize they have neutered the sport beyond belief. The prices are too high, and the show is not all that it could be. You know if I miss a race, I don't really have a sad feeling about it anymore.

I had only guy friends for the longest time who would watch racing with me. They cheered for Bill Elliott and I cheered for Bobby. IF our driver went out, then Mark Martin was the man as that was the beer of choice. They were VERY pissed with me when I went to Earnhardt's camp. Rusty was the enemy to me. I love RCR and I cheer for Harvick. Just found out there is a sight like this for him with almost 4,000 fans on it. Thinking about joining it, but wondering when I would have the time to post! Love Robby and his attitude and wish he and Harvick were still teammates sometimes.

NO ROBBY HATERS ALLOWED!! Got to thinking about it. Not only are Robby and Kevin kinda "bad boys" and the "don't screw" with me type, but both of them have this contagious sense of humor too. Maybe if I saw them more often I would think different, but for now I like the two, and I am NOT changing my mind anytime soon!
I have met Rusty several times and he was always nice to me. I have watched him though be as mean as could be 10 minutes later to someone else. Mark was nice to me too. Most of the drivers have been. A lot of times it is just how you approach them and behave yourself. I was NEVER disappointed the times I got to see Dale Sr. Talk about a sense of humor!! I am so blessed to have some of that on film and video tape. Man I miss some of the old day ways.

Hi and good morning...this is too weird but I live in Newark! are you from here? Yes I am taking my Mom out Sun eve. to avoid some of the lunch crowd. I am also meeting some friends for lunch this afternoon and then getting back here to get ready for the race. I think if Rob just runs safely and gets a 20-25 then he will be ok..Need to get some distance from that 35 spot and the he can cut loose...looking forward to the road courses...Well have a great Mother's Day with your Mom! I live just north of Heath by what used to be Rockwell.(around Union street).(my dad worked there) I graduated from NC (also long time ago!) I actually grew up way north of Newark about halfway between Newark and Utica. Small world huh!!

Actually lived Chestnut Hill Road near Fredonia...I lived in Columbus for awhile and then moved back to Newark to buy a house as I (at that time) could not afford to buy a house in Columbus. I know Dry Creek Road really well as my cousins lived in North Manor and we would ride our bikes down to the creek and play...I went to Grade school with (i think) with Mike Crumrine. Well originally lived near then before we moved out to the "country"

O well your about to have a good month of june...there is nothing better then going to a race live. Went to Eldora last year cant go this year but yeah will be at Mich. for june race and then MO for the Rolex Grand Am race. Went to Darlington race last year...Robby is having a bad night.

Just getting back to the grind after play time in Dega. Damn that was fun! Worked last night and I have to work today as well! Darlington is not always kind to Robby and she proved it last night I understand! The Lady in Black still has his number!

Sorry I haven't been very quick about getting back to you this weekend. Yesterday I had a funeral to go to and today I was out of town. I missed the start of the race yesterday so I didn't get to see exactly what happened to Robby, but I guess after the night he had 28th wasn't all that bad. I wasn't jumping up and down or anything, but when you can go from 35th to 28th and not pass a single car...

You are right about being bored at work. However, I am going to count it as a blessing as I am still employed. Thoughts and prayers going out to those not so lucky with the GM/Chrysler cutbacks.
As for our "other driver", no I didn't become a member of the site. Are you kidding?? I barely seem to get here to post as I should. Told a friend who is addicted to Facebook, I was happy with the sites I am already on and not needing to expand right now. However, if I do, the KH site will be the one for me! And yes, GO ROBBY!!!

I could not agree with you more. I hate feeling like we are working just to pay off bills. We should be able to take time for ourselves every now and then. Also, most of the people here are great. I like the way we can have group discussions and posts. I find a lot of good info here too. Going to try to meet another one of the "Planeteers" tomorrow. Fingers crossed as we have tried twice before, but something has come up.
