Just stopping in at the wee hours of the night to wish you a happy Tuesday. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it! ;)
  • Sarah

I am a night owl who doesn't sleep very much. I was up at 6ish today and into work at 8am. I like to randomly post to my various friends in the middle of the night. Let's them know (I hope) I am not just into adding people for the numbers.
    Have a great one!
  • Nellz

Thank you so much for your prayers. We are getting ready to leave for MI. You all on here have been the best. I can never repay all of you for your thoughts and prayers.
  • Sarah

Oh yeah baby! Made me HOT!! Thanks for paying up what you owed me!
  • Christy

Thanks for the friend request and yes I voted today and everyday. Six of us in my family that votes daily.
  • Sarah

Hey Miss!! Hoping you have a great Friday to start the weekend off right!
  • Christy

We all voted this am also. Calling for rain today here not sure about Martinsville, hope we get to qualify.
  • Sarah

Remember I work on Sat., BUUUUTTTTT at this time, I am planning some fun tonight and work be damned... (hope they are not monitoring hee hee) Weekend looks like it is going to be a great one for me. How about you? Any good plans? And yes I love the smileys!!
  • jeff glowniak

good to see so many robby maniacs!!
  • Sarah

In other words, where housework is concern: Thank goodness for the commercials!! LOL! I do work Sat. It was a choice from 5-6 years ago. Now it pays off because if I stay over any evening, I can leave early on Sat. Also, having Mon. off works if I have to go anywhere that would be closed on the weekend.
As a CAPS fan, I understand the double duty on the tv/weekends. Think about it, we sound like the typical man!! ;)
  • Sarah

I divorced mine for that very reason!! He just didn't get racing. WTF was I thinking when I married him?? LOL!!
  • Christy

this household voted today. Have a good weekend.
  • Christy

I was ready for racing since we are 3 laps down going to go outside and play.
  • Christy

Warm but windy here we walked the fence line to check for missing posts and places that need fixed. Hate that Robby did so poorly.
  • Keith

LOL! Lealani sure gives Danica a run for the $$.
What's the line Billy Crystal used to use? "Better to look marvelous than be marvelous". Robby was far from marvelous yesterday. I couldn't bare the agony. Turned it off after 100 laps or so. Checked back just in time to see him make a mess with the flat rear tire... left for good after that.

Been here since PR was constructed... was on RuR prior and have been on RN for a couple of years or more... lost track.
  • Sarah

Sorry I missed you this weekend. I was at a friends house (here), but we had an out of town guest. I turned the race on a couple of times and saw Robby was -30 some laps. Figured it was NOT worth watching. Heck, my boy Harvick didn't even interest me either.
I did enjoy the something/something in the girls group. Hope you will contribute more often! Have a great week!!
  • Sarah

Just sending you a smile and wishes for a great Wednesday!

Nice thanks again. I checked it out. I didn't realize that they had stopped running the Trans-Am for a few years. I always loved watching them run at Long Beach. On that tight track with all the buildings around those cars sounded great.....
  • Christy

I think (hope) more people are voting. TOG left a comment about it being fixed, wonder if it is?
  • Flan

My wife surprised me with the RPDE at New Hampshire a couple of years ago. I did the 8 lap drive. There is a class before you can jump in the car. They also take you around the track in a van to show you preferred lines. Basically, you follow one of the driving instructors around at about 3 car lengths back. Every 2 laps they increase the speed. You really don't brake going into the corners, but rather just get off the gas. My top speed on the straights was 115-120 mph. These are actually old Cup cars. They don't handle like a street car at all. The instructors just said keep turning the wheel in the middle of the corner...it will stick. Feels like it's going to the wall, but it in fact does stick. The ride along seems like fun because those guys crank it up. If you ever get the chance to drive do it! Take lots of pix.
  • Sarah

Good morning!! Spring is in the air and I am feeling great!! Love it when it gets warm out. Now I just have to get thru the work day. Hope you have a great Friday!!
  • Sarah

Chipper... haven't been referred to as chipper in a long time, but since it is positive- I'll take it!! Life is too short to be miserable and mean. I think I have also made it my mission to counteract some of the negativity of some people on this site. Not referring to the people who get upset when Robby has a bad week, but the ones (or one in my book!) who never seem to have a nice thing to say no matter what. Plus it gives me an extra reason to smile to know I get on his last nerve!! (And if he would stop following my posts, I wouldn't be able to do that now would I??)
Good for you that you are home and can see stuff in real time. I am here at work, and I will check in and out for results as I can. Hoping we see some good stuff this weekend.
Enjoy your day and don't work too hard!!
  • Walt Pendleton

I have been voting every day for Robby, you would think people would get tired of JUnior's excuses for not winning.
  • Christy

Hello to you also, Robby should have a better race this weekend. I may even get to watch most of the race, nothing else planned yet.
  • Flan

Thanks for the heads up on RPDE past drivers deal. Didn't know about it. Might have to look into it.
  • Sarah

You are as bad as me with the sports! Not watching too much basketball with WVU out, but I think NC will take it. CAPS are doing great and I am hopeful about the playoffs. Yeah, IRL starts today!!

I don't think I will be inside to watch much as it is to be 70ish today. I want to do the first lawn mowing of the season and wash my cars. I am glad Texas will be starting later in the day to allow me the time needed. Here is hoping Robby has a great race too!! TTYL!
  • Beth

Yeah, all the bickering is what kept me a way for a while. But I felt so bad for Robby and his team today that I just wanted to say something.
  • Sarah

Yeah CAPS!! As for the IRL, I guess I am going with RHR. He should do well on Tony's team. I am not a Danica fan and her antics make me ill. I used to follow this kind of racing when I was a kid as it was on tv regularly when Nascar was not. I was a Bobby Unser fan and then a Danny Sullivan fan. Over the years, I have turned it on and watched. I like Helio as I like the personality. YES, this was before DWTS!!
Pissed Robby and Kevin had such a crappy day. I listened to it on PRN as I was outside most of the afternoon. Have a great week!
  • Sarah

C-A-P-S CAPS CAPS CAPS!!! Wooo hoooo!!! I love the hockey guy too as the theme for the CAPS is "Rock the Red!" Good luck with your team!!
I am with you on the where did Spring go to question. It spit snow here all day!! WTH?!?!
  • Keith

Gonna leave Antarctica for somebody else's bucket list. LOL!
A whopping 30-some degrees today... woo hoo!

I need a vacation... sandy beaches, blue salt water would be a good start.
  • Christy

I am doing ok, we had a dusting of snow this am. Hope you have a great Easter also. We will be egg hunting and going to church. Maybe this weekend off will change Robby's luck around.
  • Christy

Yes we took pictures. She had atleast 1/2 inches of mud in her hair. She also painted the dog with mud.
  • Beth

Thanks, happy Easter to you too.
  • Missy7

Hello...I see you are from the C-bus area too...so am I,, I work at Easton.,,
    Have a good easter...Missy
  • Missy7

I work down the street from Netjets at Huntington. Enjoy your weekend and the movie!
  • Mike/WC77

Ohio, ok, just take 80 out here & pass up the other 2.
  • Christy

hope you have a good week, calling on rain here, no problem. the rain can stay here so Robby can qualify in a good spot and have an excellent finish in Pheonix
  • Sarah

Good morning!!! Sorry I have not responded for a bit. Went away for Easter and when I came back, I had lots to do to catch up. I don't like the Wings, so I will be sending thoughts of luck to the Jackets. Let's go CAPS!!!!
My Easter was great and was spent with some new friends introduced to me by an old one. I even got an Easter basket!!! I hope yours was great as well. TTYL!!!
  • Sarah

Abducted... funny you mention that because in a way that is exactly what happened in a way. A friend of mine was to come and visit us here. Then, due to circumstances beyond his control, he could not make it. He ended up making an hour and a half drive to pick me up with the promise of having me home Monday morning. Well I ended up not getting home until late Monday. No problems though as I had the best time.
Sounds like your weekend was good too. Let's hope we can do some celebrating this weekend as well. I am not working late tonight as I have some errands to run, then home to watch the CAPS!!! Going back to PA this weekend, but now I know what friends there have internet. I WILL be following the games as well as the race as I can.
I think Spring is coming as it is to be in the high 70's this weekend. Woooo Hoooo!!!
  • Sarah

Monster Army- heeheehee!! I am bummed about the game too. At least it was a good one to watch. Here's hoping they get their act back together and beat the Rangers. I will send warm thoughts out to your Jackets. I just do not like the Wings!!
Hope you have a great Thurs. It is to be almost 70 today. 'Bout time is all I have got to say!!
  • Walt Pendleton

Looks like no fan trailer this weekend. According to TOG I will see if I can find Robby.
  • Walt Pendleton

I have some good news, I saw Robby tonight I had him sign one of my white RGM shirts. It's an XL white. It's used but it is the best I could do, I will send it tomorrow.
  • Walt Pendleton

I plan on heading to the track at noon after having breakfast with MEEEE
  • Sarah

Well let's hope this thing gets turned around fast. I would like to have an all around good weekend with our teams including Robby!!
  • Sarah

I have not watched it, but I will make an effort to do so this week. Thanks for letting me know!!
  • Christy

Been very busy, Hope Robby does well tonigt. Yes I think Sping has finnaly sprung.
  • Missy7

Yes I am Ready!! Hoping for a good run so we stay in the top 35!
  • Missy7

Thanks for that info...I will keep an eye on that. Robby just needs to have NO problems today,,,fingers crossed!
  • Missy7

That just sucked...I guess I needed to cross my toes too! On to Dega...Have a good week at work...I am going to the Spring Game next Sat..So hopefully no rain. Later!!
  • Beth

I feel bad for him too. He was running so well. It was so much fun to watch him racing on the lead lap. I know everyone is bummed right now, but things ARE going to turn around.
