ah yes, 1978! I remember it pretty well! Mass got a lot more snow than we did in NH. As for a VW - I drive a bug! It's a 2000, bright yellow!

how much well, there is a bus only go from Tijuana To San Felipe and they make like 6 hours,
from here to Mexicali is like 3:30 or 4:00 hours but, there's not a bus from here to San Felipe

Walt, Hi, Yes, I have given the SF race some thought as I will be in Sedona for a couple weeks, but I doubt I can talk my mom into taking that kind of a road trip at this time, although it may be possible. She has a Fleetwood Discovery. I have more work to do to figure things out. I hate to pass on an oportunity when I would normally be in New York State! Thank you for writing me.

Heat without humidity is bearable! New England in the summer can get ugly with the humidity! Sounds like you had a great time in SF and you obviously cheered RG on for me cuz he did well!

i was solo at race mile 8 and 9 and then i was like 20miles from the finish line i missed Robby in that part and there was part of his team

Walt, thanks for the invite!! I am with you about hitting it off with Bill. There is something about that guy that makes it hard not to like him. I am a novice with Baja racing in comparison to the others on his site, but I want to learn. When Bill called Sunday (you were w/ him right?), I told him the gang was working on a 2010 trip out that way. Gotta see my girls Vass and Christina too!

Thanks for adding me as a friend. I think it would be awesome to get down to Baja for a race someday, it sounds like you have a lot of fun. Are you going to the 500 as well? I am planning to move to AZ someday, so it will be nice to be close enough to go anytime. Sounds like I will need to get one of those Rhinos to chase Robby around too. Sometime I will make it back out this way for some off road racing. Right now I am enjoying my stay in Arizona, and everything I love about this area. So different than (NY) the northeast, as you well know coming from Mass. (I also lived in Maine for 3 yrs.) Thanks again for everything you guys did, you and BB are pretty popular around here now!!!

yeah Dorado Ranch i saw to many houses there, so i was thinking "God if i go there to find Walt and Bill never gonna find this guys, with so many houses and desert there, and then i was thinking, but this is the race day so, they will be in some part of the road" but again thanks for the support and invite me i could no find u guys but u always give me the support to go that race, and it was awesome i will there the next year thank you very much
