Hi Dave. All is well this way. Dylan was seeded 1st in his bracket AND won 1st place in his tournament today -- woohoo. His record after 6 weeks is 16 wins 7 losses. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. Of course I am mom so I guess I do get bragging rights. Speaking of snow, did you hear we had snow here in Louisiana last Thursday? Oh, Dave, it was so beautiful. Weather guy said there was a slight chance (6 years ago -- the last time it snowed here -- that meant it melted as soon as it hit the ground) but this time everything was covered in white. We ended up getting 5 1/2 inches. I was bruised from being pelted by snowballs by the boys & we built a Bama snowman. Of course this week it was 80 degrees. Only in Louisiana. Can't get over how big Leo has gotten. What a little cutie. Ready for the holidays?

Just finished shoveling our driveway, and you got it, it is now snowing again! 8-10 yesterday and another 8-12 coming today! YUCK!!!!!! Time for a move somewhere where snow doesn't exist! Take care and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

Wow! This IS the place to be for New Year's! Went motorcycle riding yesterday, touring the surrounding countryside then down to Mexico for dinner! Windy and warm here...80 degrees! Heck with cold weather!

Just been reading through the latest Dakar stage thread. Feeling a little wobbly....not much sleep last night then had to get up early to ride 'shotgun' on the church bus with a bunch of kids. I have to admire my kid a little more for putting up with that bunch. LOL.

The grind of retail is indeed just that - a grind! People don't come to the mall and they don't come to my counter either! My numbers are crashingh and it's bumming me out big time! Other than that things are not bad!

Hi Dave -- I've been hiding out in stinky gyms every weekend -- wrestling tournaments. We had a duel tournament at our school this past weekend & spent a few days getting that prepared. Except for the jambalaya being late & one toilet overflowing everything went off fairly well. Maybe it was a good thing the jambalaya was late (hahahahaha). We've got the City tournament this weekend, off next weekend & then we're off to the State tournament. Keep your fingers crossed for Dylan. Have you talked to Gia or "Casi" lately? Tried calling Casi about two weeks ago while on my way to a tournament but didn't reach her & haven't heard back. How have things been going your way? Robby had a great finish at Dakar. I'm sure you're getting ready for the upcoming season. Any plans to make some races? Thxs for keeping in touch. It reminds me that there is life outside of stinky gyms :-)
