Hey wench (love saying that hee hee!), Vass has created a group for the ladies of the planet. Come and join us!! We need to get you more involved in the planet. Not good to be an island you know! LOL
  • Joan Forsythe

Hey good to see you on line again. Keep in touch. Joan
  • Sarah

Glad you did. Once we get some members, maybe we can schedule a time for ALL of us to meet and chat. You know like we do on Sunday. Think I will share that with Vass since it is her group!
  • Sarah

If we drink some Beam, the conversation could really get interesting. LOL
  • Sarah

Just stopped by to say hello. Missed posting with you last weekend. Hope all is good your way.
  • Sarah

Haven't been to the movies in awhile. Guess I will try to go some in the off season to occupy my Sunday afternoons. Race was not what I would call a good day. Not a JJ fan at all.
  • Sarah

I checked in and out as I have been very busy! I know what you mean about JJ. No spark to him at all. Yes winter will be long, but at least Robby will entertain (I hope) us with other endeavors. Hope weather-wise the winter will be mild. I hate the winter weather. Give me the sun anytime!

Hey lady!! Feeling a little lost without the race chat. I hope you and yours also have a great Thanksgiving as well. Any good plans??
  • Sarah

I cook too. I actually enjoy it as I like to make stuff from scratch. Hate the microwave stuff etc. I also like having the left overs. Not having a big crowd or anything.
  • Sarah

Missing racing too. Now I have to be creative to find things to entertain myself. In fact Mouse and I were up at 6am to give a friend here a "wake-up" call at 5am her time. One on her cell phone and one on her house phone. She did not kill us yet, but then again she was not awake yet either!!
You are sooo welcome about the Bobby Allison message. He has always been my favorite driver!!!
  • Sarah

Back in the late 80's/early 90's, there were hardly any NASCAR fans around here, much less girls who liked it. I met a girl who was as big of a Davey fan as I was a Bobby fan. We have been friends ever since. We used to go to 12 races a year and had the best time. When she was having her first child, her husband said I could not give their son his first Tonka dump truck as a baby gift. (This was symbolic as we both played with one as children) So I instead painted it black and applied Davey decals to it. Her son is in middle school now and that dang dump truck is STILL a center piece of his bedroom. You tell your son I think it is cool to have a Davey room!!

Just wanted to stop by and wish you a very Merry Christmas and a most blessed New Year!
  • Sarah

Don't worry about the lateness of the message. No goodies from Santa for me, but I did make it to FL for a week for free. No complaints, except I had to come back home to the cold weather. Hope all is off to a great start for your New Years!

We were in Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte. My girlfriend's mother has a place there and since no one was using it, we took FULL advantage. It was nice to do nothing for a change. I will keep you in my prayers about the job. It is a cruel world out there right now and I don't wish it on anyone. Keep me updated. As for the racing, I have been trying to follow Dakar as much as possible. It is hard to do at work. Fingers crossed for Robby though! Take care!!
  • Sarah

Yes we were and it was fabulous!! We were about 1 hour and 1/2 south of Tampa. It was an 18 hour drive and I did most of the driving there and ALL of the driving back. It was well worth it. Better than a week there and all for less than $150.00. Of course we had to come home to the cold weather. We had some ice on the cars this morning, but so far no real weather "events" to speak about. Hope the good trend continues.
I really hope there will be some good changes with the new administration. Some of my friends and family are going to DC on the 20th, but I have not decided on it yet. DC is only 1 and 1/2 hours away so it would be no problem.
Following the racing too during the day. Fingers crossed for Robby to have a great run as well. Take care and keep warm!!

So close, so very close!!! I have been checking in and all as I am at work. I think some of my coworkers think I have lost my mind!!
