When did you become a Robby fan ?: I became a Robby fan about 6 years ago....I had never even seen a Nascar race but happened upon the Speed channel while they were doing an interview with Robby.They mentioned "doing the double" and I remembered him because my only racing experience at the time was about 45 years of never missing the Indy 500, including watching Robby getting into a helicopter and heading to Charlotte for the 600. At that time I had not a clue about Nascar , but when the subject of the single car owner /driver and the myriad of challenges it presented was discussed I decided to hang around and watch the race to see how he did. I've probably not missed 3 races since.I don't watch Robby to see Nascar, I watch Nascar to see Robby. My life has been changed, a passion I never knew that was within born because of belief in the dreams of a man who never gives up and lives his life full speed ahead to make his dreams come true.He puts his money where his mouth is and will reach victory lane with the #7 car. He's already a winner, because he is who he is.
What type of racing do you like ?: Yes
Will Robby ever win the Dakar Rally ?: Hell Yes!

After getting back in the middle of the week and going straight back to work, I did have to spend some time 'recovering'. When the pace slowed down, the lack of sleep caught up with me. I spent most of Saturday catching up on lost sleep. Now trying to get caught up on my Planet browsing.....not enough hours in the day!!! (No, I don't recall seeing Mouse with any wire-rimmed glasses.) For whatever reason, I am so glad Robby & Kirk worked so well together yesterday and I hope they can continue. Results were definitely better!

hmmmm RGM & DEI? well, I guess it's a good thing. but like others I wish for a merger with RCR. At any rate something needs to be done. And If Robby ends up happy in his decision, then I too will be happy! Right? How are u dear? LONG time no hear?

I do not believe Robby actually fired Greg - he stepped down when they couldn't get a handle on the COT! He was going to stay on as an engineer but then the Rat in the Hat, Rousch hired him away!

Hi Thanks for checking on me. Fared ok with Ike, had some roof damage, lots of fence and tree damage (and clean up), but didn't get any water in the house and my house is still standing! So I feel blessed. Still no power, but they are working on that. Just taking things one day at a time

hello hello Miss Chris! yeah that damn scanner!!!!!!!! That really ticks me off! Hopefully this Sunday it'll be better! So keeping busy with those football games?? hehehehehee. Your such a sweetie! Can you beleive the Nascar season is soon to OVER>? It seems like it just started! Hubster is thrilled he loves ANY football, College, NfL etc..... I used to watch The GB Packer games but Brett Farve is GONE! ;( It'll be a boring winter......... So good Old Homecoming is coming up huh? Wow! makes me feel OLD as dirt. heheheheheee. I can remember....................... My Greys Anatomy starts Thurs. Yayyy! Do you watch that? It's my fav. I'm feelin a little better after my sinus Infec.//bronchitis crap..... Hello Peaches!!!! Happy Saturday night! How's things? All is well here, Taking the girls to the Cider Mill tom. ( Armada Center Rd) they will have a blast! I'm hoping to get some apple pickin' in! I want to make some Apple Betty......... But for sure they will run us ragged with the maze, animals, hay mountain etc........ LOL! So I see that Penske engine didn't fair to well in Prac & Qing eh? 40's in both? YIKES!!!!!!!! Our boy just has to have a decent finish! How was the football game this week??? Take care my dear! Hi, Chris! No it isn't new, but it is nice, we have over an acre of land, and there is road on each side, which essentially means that we have our own island. We are currently training our Lab, Pepper, to go out in the yard by herself since we are in a less busy setting and there aren't so many distractions to cause her to run off instead of listening. Thank goodness we don't have to paint right away, as the former owner painted it throughout, albeit the same color everywhere. But we will gradually paint each room the way we want it. Great to hear from you! I do hope that RG can pull himself up into the top 35 and stay there. If so, that will be a moral victory for the season.

it was a great run,& I'm cautiously optimistic about the new chassis we'll see this wknd. Hopefully it will be a peformance gain. As for the employer...I sold my soapbox on ebay. Gave the proceeds to the "feed the ex-rgm'rs fund". Keep an eye on "the hot pass store" on ebay. The constant turnover should supply us with a ton of team gear.

I hear you about the asses braying! Sometimes you just never know what will set them off, however, since things went much better later in the race maybe everyone was in a better humor! We finally got some rain here today for what seems like the first time in MONTHS and it's supposed to rain again tomorrow. I won't know how to act! Hope your long week goes well and your guys can pull off a win in their big game. Give them my best wishes!

Thanks for the kind words. :) The kids on my flickr are neices and nephews. My daughter is the blonde with the horses LOL. No grandkids! (I'd kill her! LOL). The MIS pics are actually in a video on my page...it's a pain to put them all up. I have thousands and thousands...have to keep them on an external HD or my computer would crash!

Took a lot this year...six races down and Homestead to go! Maybe this winter I'll have time to upload everything to flickr. :D

depending on what you have for a camera...if it's digital you need a good lens and a fast read/write card...digital slr that is..a regular little digital won't let enough light in to get a decent pic. SLR's (even 35mm) will work if you use the right film and f/stop, plus lens and if you're close enough..a flash. I use a 35mm and it's hard to shoot night races...practice practice practice!!

doubt I'll be going back to Michigan..I'm on the 'every track eventually' tour..lol...with a few exceptions such as NHMS and WG. Might hit Daytona for the 500 and after that...not sure. Maybe Bristol and Darlington and who knows where else? :D

Dang that's great that your grandson's team made the state playoffs. Don't know about there but football is a BIG DANG DEAL here in Texas. Small towns they know you aren't from there if you don't have a HS team shirt on and if it's an out of town game businesses shut down early. And I'll wave to ya'll this weekend. Well, I had a quiet Thanksgiving with just me and the birds (but no turkey) which is NOT what I had planned, but I'm back in the routine at work (like that's anything to be excited about, ha). So now here it is time to start the Christmas rush...put up tree, shopping, wrapping, etc... and my Christmas spirit is nowhere to be found. Oh wait, it's chilling in the fridge.
