I am so with you on J.J. and the pole. Heard/read somewhere an idea I liked. When they qualify by points, why not let the drivers start by how they draw a position? It keeps the ones that should (?) be in the race in there, but mixes it up in the field a bit. You know, like they used to for the Clash. Heck, maybe it was even you that mentioned it. Just know something needs to be done and if Nascar is all about fairness, etc.
