Stage 9 up. Only one weird euro dude wanting a peek down my blouse so far.
Stage 11 up. Stage 10 blame on technical difficulties.
The river swallowed my boy Daniel and his bike today. DNF.
This just really sucks if it is true-

A few more details have come to light regarding Daniel Gouët’s retirement during yesterday’s Stage. As he approached the river, he stopped and gestured to one of the Rally’s official photographers if it was safe to cross at that point. The photographer gave Daniel a “thumbs-up” that it was OK, and then raised his camera to shoot the crossing. When Daniel’s bike fell over and submerged, a number of spectators rushed to help, but the photographer shouted it was not allowed, threatening to record the assistance and Daniel would be disqualified. This, of course, is not true, and the suspicion is that the photographer dashed Daniel’s 2012 Dakar dream in aid of getting a few good photos of the young Chilean struggling with his bike in the water all alone. The helpful fans brought Daniel’s bike to the bivouac in their truck, but did not have room for him. He hitch-hiked. Such is the Dakar.
For us hardcore types, Stage 12 is up. I'll also upload Stage 10 so we have the complete archive. BTW, the ASO slayed all those who reposted Quinn's shunt....except the "Bar" has their own private copy ;-)
I'm sure Quinn will be happy to know he can always come back here to review that again and again and....
Stage 13 up. Coma with gearbox problems all but hands DoucheSpray the win.
