Hey all, I recently undertook the painstaking process of building my first custom 1/64th diecast car.  I used a 2007 Matt Kenseth #17 DeWalt Ford Fusion Team Caliber Pit Stop car as the donor (got a great deal on GoMotorBids.com last year), decals from HOCustom.com, Krylon primer and black spray paint, Testors gloss red for the spoiler and flat black for the sideskirts, and Futures Floor Polish for the clear coat.  I only had one goof-up on the decals (the "GoodYear" decal over the right front shifted during clear coat and didn't notice until after the clear coat dried.  Without further ado, here is the results:
