Just watched victory lane. Where is the footage of Robby hitting the 12 under caution. The only thing they showed was rg and stremme coming into the pits.If thats where they say Robby hit him then I must be blind because all I saw were two guys entering the pits. Robby was close to his bumber but that was it, if he hit him I didn't see it. So where is the footage. After the 12 spun him for the 2nd time I am positive that a camera was following the 7. So show me the video and I will believe he should have gotten parked for 5 laps. Jimmy Spencer said he thinks Stremme should have been paked for the rest of the race.

I hear ya
The damage to the nose of the 7 was caused by spinning through the infield grass, mud and access roads at 150 mph. Stremme punted Robby and spun him into the infield after Robby 'bump drafted' him a couple times.
The splitter was ripped off the car. Hardly a mild grass digging.
Robbys temper does get him in trouble sometimes, but im sorry they parked one to many cars. Robby did nothing to make Stremme hit him and send him into the wall the first time and then in the next corner hit him again. Even the announcers didnt understand the penalty. Like Andy said, Robby gave him a couple taps on the straightaway....got his point across... and then went on bye. I was proud that Robby didn't wreck him!!! but then when Stremme so obviously took him out while Robby was passing him and almost had him cleared I wished he would have. Thats not a track that you retaliate on like that. If NASCAR fines both cars I'm going to wish Robby would go somewhere else and race (although there aren't alot of choices) because they are making mistakes and they are costing too many points, money and positions on the track. It's not like they can listen to Robbys side of the story after the race and say "We were wrong, we will give you the points and money that you could have gotten had we not parked you for five laps" Its very frustrating, that car was good I was excited to see it passing and moving up.............oh well.
Nascar has this posted on their website, but it doesn't show anything under caution. http://www.nascar.com/video/cup/2009/08/03/cup.poc2.high.five.nascar/
I was @ work today, so this is all I've seen of the incident. If theres more, somebody please fill me in.

I missed the race today too, but I'm pretty sure that's it. Robby got hit three times by the 12, never wrecked anyone himself, and got parked for five laps.
If anyone doesn't believe nascar looks for reasons to get on Robbys shit, then surely after today they understand. Even the guys in the booth seemed baffled as to why Robby was parked for five laps. The one time Robby DOESN'T go ape shit and he still gets penalized. We just can't win for losing...
Robby made the mistake of calling his shot for all to hear, "I gonna wreck the 12."
But saying that got him air time when you are looking for sponsors that is gold.
Why did Stremme get the lucky dog? I thought you were not eligible if you lost your lap due to a penalty.
He was 5 laps down but he was still the 1st car a not on the lead lap.
