Permalink Reply by Mike Kenyon on July 9, 2012 at 11:17pm getting tested by your doctor for meds is one thing, getting tested by a confict of interest, biased doctor that can have you fired and/or banned for life is entirely different!
Permalink Reply by Bruce Smith on July 9, 2012 at 11:44pm But why would the doctor do that? I don't think AJ has a bunch of enemies. Plus, I don't see where this is anything but bad for NASCAR
Permalink Reply by Mike Kenyon on July 9, 2012 at 11:55pm becouse Brian France is paying the bill and he can have any result he wants.Remember conflict of interest. How bad is it for Na$crap? really. For AJ it's a whole different story.
Permalink Reply by Bruce Smith on July 10, 2012 at 12:05am I agree that France can do anything he wants to. But. why would NASCAR want to get rid of AJ? They need clean drivers like him that have a good group of fans. They need Shell / Pennzoil in the sport and I bet Shell / Pennzoil is questioning why they have had two drivers in a row that caused problems. And NASCAR needs Penske in the sport. If he thinks AJ got a raw deal he may go to war with NASCAR. NASCAR has lots of money, but Penske has more I am sure.
Permalink Reply by WJM on July 10, 2012 at 12:14am That Shell/Pennzoil money would look good on Rat in the Hat's #6 next year. Just sayin'
Permalink Reply by Mike Kenyon on July 10, 2012 at 10:21am Roger sells more Shell/Pennzoil product in a month than Rat would/could in his life time.I would bet Shell/Pennzoil could care a less who the 'CUP' driver is.They're pouring oil at every Penske own'd dealership/service center.
Permalink Reply by Sean Soule on July 10, 2012 at 12:05am Maybe its an inside job by Penske and Nascar combined. AJ was in the hotseat and this is an easy way for Penske to dump him. Just a deep thought from a shallow mind. Crazier things have happened in business and lets face it this is a business.
Permalink Reply by WJM on July 10, 2012 at 12:08am NASCAR requiring AJ to request his B sample be tested is like standing at the wrong end of the firing squad and asking to be shot twice. The proper and fair thing to do IMO is to have the B sample tested at the lab of his choice.
