Here are the Top 20 Dakar Rally overall standings after stage 8.Robby Gordon finds himself in 5th place and only 1hr 30 minutes out of the lead with 6 stages left to run. Please note, Stage 9 might be the toughest of the remaining stages.

Considering the problems today, a great effort. Overall, a top five for this team in this rally would be spectacular, and I'm sure every RGM fan would be proud of that.

Its a long race and anything can happen. Let's just hope the bad things happens to the Volkswagens and good things happen to the Hummers.
