So far in the show Mikey admitted that the wreck with Robby was a mistake, and that he can relate to Rob being close to the top 35 in points. He didn't fire back about Robby's comment and didn't say anthing about it.

Have to give him credit for the apology. He said that Robby didn't deserve this and now he feels different about having the same thing happen to him by the #44 in the Nationwide race on Saturday. He's still apologizing as they show the highlights of the wreck and says he feels terrible about it. That it was just a stupid move on his part or something to that effect.
yeah you can tell he's really sorry about it
He seemed sincere to me... At least on camera.. I say move on and be the bigger person, like I believe Robby was, regardless of a little poke about retirement in the heat of the moment. If Robby is in the high line heading to the checkers at Talledega and the 55 is behind him I will take the push... I can't project the negative once the 55 mans up and takes the blame...
Well, he knew he was at fault.

bottomline for racecar drivers is:

Every driver will wreck somebody or be wrecked by somebody during the course of a season.

It just happened at the worst possible time for RG by the worst possible driver.
Well said, and enough said!!!!
Mears may not be stellar, but Daddy's Boy Jr is an idiot. I'll take the former on my team any day of the week.
I thought Mikey showed a lot of class. I thought Biffle and Steve Burns were jackasses. But I hate Biffle so I may be biased.
JoCo...are you serious? Casey Mears with all of one career win is a complete joke. Every car he jumps into is a disaster. He's a nice guy but c'mon, compare the numbers on Dale and Casey...that's an easy choice.
I totally agree with you. I wonder how happy Jack Daniels is with the move that put Mears into their car?
I don't care that much about mears in this convo, but Jr is still the face of the sport for the time being. They have some problems over there that he cant overcome on the track. Mears and JR have the same amount of wins this year and Casey has been able to find his pit box. When you are on a team and every other driver on that team has won but you, kinda makes you look bad. Of course this weekend would be a good one to get a win for Dale. I just don't think you can compare mears and Dale Jr. Once your at Hendrick and you have left your old team behind, you have great equipment and great people around you, there are no excuses any more. Mears hasn't done anything different than he has at any other time in his career, but he doesn't have 85% of the people at the track yelling his name every lap.
Well MW did seem pretty sincere. If he really is, than we should expect to see drafting help from RG's Toyota teammates @ MWR this wknd @ Dega. MW has proven if theres any tracks he is any good at, it's the RP's. I don't know how RG feels about it, but I'd take a 4 car freight train, over a solo #7 @ Dega, on any given Sunday

Oh,& MW also admitted that he's wearing makeup these days....It was more of a crack about TV pancake, but I dunno how you missed that one Derrick. Biffle also said it sucks, but he'd been (unintentionaly) on both sides of that equation before. Sure there was a little jackassery, but whats new?
It's a WildCard original. I'm full of 'em, among other things. You can file it along with
