Coming off a solid top-20 finish last weekend in Atlanta, Robby Gordon and the No. 7 team hope to carry this momentum forward into this weekend’s Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. The No. 7 Dodge Charger will display the familiar Mapei / Menards primary colors during Sunday’s 334-lap race.

THOUGHTS ON TEXAS – "We are looking forward to this weekend’s race in Texas after our strong performance at Atlanta last weekend, especially since both tracks are very similar. We hope we can build upon last weekend’s notes and momentum for another strong finish. Texas is a very fast track. As long as we can get the car to handle well again this weekend, we are going to be fine," commented Gordon, who will be making his 11th Cup Series start at the 1.5-mile oval track. "We have been competitive at the last two intermediate-track events, so we are very optimistic about Texas."

ATLANTA LAST WEEK – "Our team did exactly what we needed to do at Atlanta," said Gordon. "The crew did a great job getting our car prepared for the race and making the right changes throughout the day. During most of the event, the car’s handling was perfect and we were extremely fast. Looking back, I still think that we could have made a run for it if we could have gotten our lap back," said Gordon.

APPEARANCES – Gordon will be at his souvenir trailer on Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m. signing autographs for his fans.
