I shouldn't do math in the morning, but it looks like 105 points between the 7 and the 47(00), which would translate to 35 positions on the track (3 points per position). This is assuming neither team leads a lap/leads the most laps or claims a Top 10 (cars finishing 6-10 get 4 points per position and cars 1-5 get 5 points per position).

Of course, in order to finish that far ahead of the 7, the 47 would have to have a Top 10 today (no worse than 8th if Robby finished 43rd).

For info on the points system:

thanks for the info. i was in no condition last night to do any math....lol.. and still not capable to do any math this morning...lol
Hope we get lots of early cautions.
Robby finished 30th in the Spring Texas race and down two laps. This was with a car left over from Last Year's COT design and being that Texas was an early race, it was probably a prototype. I know that the big teams have really advanced their COT program and speed but it just may be possible that today's secondary chassis will do it and give Robby something that will keep him 34th in Owners Points.
