Happy were locked in!
Even more important..this is the first intermediate track with the new spoiler AND the longer 3.5" fin thingie....

Every lap of practice is huge this weekend, and being locked in is a huge benefit, as the GOGH are working from basically a new playing field as this type of car configuration has not seen the track but for the charlotte test..

The FRM cars have been VERY slow on qual days, but being locked in has helped them stay afloat...dont be surprised if the 34 misses this weekend...
To be honest, I would be surprised if the #34 misses. Roush basically controls all thing Ford in Nascar, Roush is a big supporter of Kvapil, and he still has an axe to grind with one Robby Gordon. I would not be the least bit suprised if the #34 car was shipped to Texas out of a Roush shop...

All Robby has to do is keep improving, and run top 20s. Flip flopping rides for Conway will catch up to FRM soon enough.
Almirola not into the whole start and park thing which has become a game of chicken anyway. Good for Aric.
Can anyone blame him for not wanting to be a start and park driver ? It has to be somewhat demoralizing to know you are only going to 'race' for a certain number of laps and then call it a day . The whole start and park thing stinks .
Ya, and know NASCAR has implemented a new rule that the first car to be "out" with no for seen reason in subject to impound. So thats why all the S&P's are running more laps and are in and out of the garage.
It sure took the head honchos at Nascar long enough to do something about the whole S&P thing . I don't know if it will really change things all that much . With the smaller teams still having to scrounge for every dollar they can , it remains to be seen if this will have the impact they want it to .
Looks like we got back into the top 35 just in time. You never know what will happen at the intermediate tracks during 1st practice and Qualifying and that was before they changed the car's aero package.
Just park the fucking car already
you know, it started parked at the shop, seems silly to unpark it and the hauler drive across the world just to start and then park in the race even if only parking for short peroids to avoid nascorp parking the one car they can afford for a week or two.....like 006 said just leave it parked to start with and you save 5 grand right there!
I See The # 90 not There . That's A Same , Riggs Like I Thought Would Be 100 X Betters Than Mears . Hope That Car Will Be Back Sometime . Anyway Hope RG ' s Car is Good This Week , Ran Well at This Race Last Year Until Motor Blew .
