Monster just stuck a bunch of money in the Herbst Boys pocket so they could go desert racing and when Speed shows the back of Scott Speeds "Red Bull Toyota" there is a nice Terrible Herbst decal jsut outside of the rear window on both sides!! What gives, that money could have been used on the 7 for desert or Nascrap!

I saw the car in the garage on Saturday, I would have noticed a Terrible Herbst sticker. The caino's are on the verge of bankruptcy here, they don't have money for sponsorship so it would have been a courtesy because Red Bull gave the Herbst's money to run offroad again. I don't see the problem.
Its about time the Baja World gets some plugs on the Nascar scene!
It was while they were talking about the engine issues with the 82, they panned up the back of the car and it appeared to be the the Terrible Herbst decal..... maybe I'm wrong but the camera showed one of the crew men turning out the ratchet on the rear wedge adjustment and it was on the pillars on each side.
OK... So I forgot about this little thing called DVR, I rewound it to the Bob Dilner report on Scott Speed and I was correct, That would be a Terrible Herbst decal on the rear pilars of Scott Speeds car.

Sorry I have no idea how to transfer this video on to here so take my word or not. It's there!
that is bad ass!
Isn't that a conflict of interest? Monster sponsored team logo on a Red Bull Car? I agree, Monster should be stepping up to the plate for Robby since they seem to have found the money tree.
Robby has failed to prove himself in NASCAR to Monster as of yet. If he were running in the top 20 week in and week out, I'm sure he would be receiving allot more support on his Cup program from them. Monster doesn't need to dump a ton of $$$$$ into NASCAR.....yet. The Red Bull cars are performing woe-hum so far...and JR has been a pretty good Casey Mears replacement. There is no rule that says Monster has to funnel all of their $$$$ to Robby......NASCAR is NASCAR and Score/BITD is Score/BITD.....the Herbst's can sticker up any car they want to on the asphalt.
I dont know about Monster needing him to "prove himself" but you do have some really great points. I think it is cool to see off road exposure in the cup garage. Besides, Robby is an off-road Bad Ass and doesnt need RG off road stickers on the Beam Machine, lol..just my $0.02
No conflict of interest at all...
And now I know!
Obviously, any driver in the top 20 week in and out would have sponsors knocking at their doors, and the reason I figure they would give money to RGM is, they did sponsor him for a race last year .Robby has done well for Monster in other forms of motorsports.
Now thats a big word I know..lol....
