Good thing Robby is locked in this week. His plate cars seems to suck up real good in the draft but are very slow out of the draft.
amen
You hit the nail on the head, Cow.He was talking about the phoenix car's motor being a tad bit slower, thus the 'slow' comment.
Robby said "I told the engineers at TRD that I would prefer less performance from the engine as long as it was reliable." He mentioned that during the question and answer session in Phoenix.
the #71 might miss this. They were slow at Daytona with Wallace in the car and of the abvoe cars on the entry list,

the 09, 36, 41, 87, 82, 78 were faster than the #71.

The 4 and 13 did not run Daytona, but the Papis car is decent stuff and Im sure the McClures are bringing a serviceable car to Dega, too and very well could be Qual fast.

We might buy a break here this week... NO RAIN NO RAIN!!!!
Yeah we know McClure is there to race, and they're going balls out and they've had time to prepare a fast car
I agree about the #71 missing the race, if Mike Wallace can't qualify at a superspeedway, who can?
Ricky Bobby
Or Cal Naughton Jr.?
i was expecting a longer entry list
Update: The #64 Gunselman Motorsports driven by Geoff Bodine has withdrawn thier entry for Taladega. With that, only 45 cars on the entry list.
as long as the #71 is one of the 2 slow cars, all will be good !
